Just wanted to say for anyone experiencing our silence. If you were someone we talked to all the time and our bond was deep, there is no way we would desire to cut you out completely unless you've violated our trust. We either read, heard or even felt you've done something that ruined our ability to trust you. If we can't trust you, then we will never place ourselves in a vulnerable position to even hear you out. We literally kill the bond, we mourn for you but we will never, ever return to you. Unless it's to make you feel the pain you left us with. Other than that, give us time and we will reveal to you our reason for silence, most likely we are juggling something heavy.

Im scorpio. The silent treatment is when we are hurt. We feel this hurt deeply, even by the smallest details. True, its a form of punishment. Like u dont get/deserve my attention for hurting me. But this only happens when we reaaaaally care about you. The only way we can hurt deeply. Otherwise we dont care if u mean nothing to us. It is also a way of protecting you from the rage we feel deep inside. So as not to hurt you with a burst of anger.
I agree For me, it’s not always the actions Cut off the beginning and end, and it’s the details in the middle. What led them to do, say, think, etc that has hurt me.
If a scorpio is having a bad time and goes silence. Give them space but also let them know that your there and care for them. Hell even just sitting next to them in silence means a lot to a scorpio.

I go silent when I feel deeply hurt, depressed, betrayed, judged or misunderstood. If I'm angry, thats when I'm NOT silent and Scorpios can traumatize someone with words.
This is abuse.. If you give them space and wait around they will go silent more than they did before each time.. I had this guy I was falling in love, he iced me out around a weekish before, I gave him space like suggested and dragged him back but next month he gave it to me for 2 weeks.. You can't live like that, if they really care about you, they wont give you silence more than a few days.. I tried to make him talk as sweet as I can be as a cancer.. Nothing.. Didnt even demand an explanation but still nothing.. I broke up with him then , cause if they wanted you they wouldnt do that anyway.. He left my break up on seen but still checks my IG stories.. I told him to leave my life as I was leaving his, I unfollowed him and never check his stories etc.. but he still follows me and checks mine.. So tempted to remove him from m followers at this point.. Cant handle this abuse and childish behavior any longer..

@@oliviaanumba I am not sure how old you are. But let me tell you. I was with my first husband since I was 15 yrs old. Had 2 kids. Together for 20 yrs. After that many years we both grew out of each other and I found myself having to make the decision to start over again with a 13 & 16 yr old. Best decision I ever made! I did eventually get married again to this Scorpion man and been with him 10 yrs. with that being said. I know myself worth. And I would start all over again on my own if I had to. You need to know your self worth. You need to be happy for you and your kids. Trust me, my kids now as adults even tell me they understand why I left their dad and know that it was the right decision for my sanity at that time. Listen to your soul, you’ll know what to do. I agree, I think space is important if I have been hurt by someone close to me, I take a breather, take a step back come back level headed and mature, and say what bothered me. But, imo if that person came back to me as you did with your SO, by being sweet and caring it would, for me at least, make me more than happy to have a civil discussion. My close friend of mine lately, whose very attached to me has hurt me on several occasions, not once did he apologize or change behaviors, and atm I'm just too hurt to talk to him right now and need time
Helpful tips: ask what's wrong, listen, apologize, just be caring towards our feelings. Scorpios hold a lot of pain and darkness inside, they tuck away from others and the world. We withhold a lot of our anger and work through our pain alone, don't be another source of emotional pain for us, if you do so accidentally, just say sorry and try not to trigger that deep rooted core wound. Either that, or beg and submit, we definitely like that too lol!
Well I think the intention is important to distinguish the difference there. I wall up cuz I'm trying to find the perfect words to say. But you could definitely wall up to stone wall someone. I kinda think it's easy to see the difference tbh. But I'd like to tell myself its because I can read people well. Sometimes I can see things that aren't there but usually I can. I broke it off with my gf recently because I was telling her things I didn't like about her life and influences and she wasn't really changing and I kinda think people only change if they want too. I didnt know what to say. I kinda think Scorpios think people think the way they do and they should already see the issue and solve it. I kinda just blocked her out. I'm not proud of it but I literally severed the connection we had for eight months and it was like a switch just on then off. It did however slowly eat me alive. And cause me huge anguish. If someone gives you the silent treatment move on!! Communication is golden. The scorpio could easily tell you they need time alone. Don’t let anyone control your emotions, block them then move on! I disagree. You give me a reason to give you the silent treatment. If I've effectively communicated with you over and over, if I've given you boundaries and you've crossed them on purpose, that is your fault. What is the point in me telling you I'm not talking to you if you were never listening in the beginning. Again, each circumstance is different, some people are damaged by people with motives and have gotten to the point of having no problems cutting ties with people who bring misery.
Why blocking though? That is just as childish as solitude might seem to some people. Scorpio’s silence does not come from selfishness, it comes from emotions that are so strong that they need to withdraw in order to be able to make sense of a situation and to protect those emotions.

I don't give the silent treatment to regular folks (those i face them hard), i give silent treatment to those i care the most and it's more a self-control mechanism, it's to spare them of my regular rage, my ugliest side. I go silent and distant so i can cool off the anger that builds more quickly when dear ones don't get it the first time i explain a certain behavior is bad. The message in my silent treatment: - i care alot about you, cuz you have very good morale principles; - when i witness a bad behavior on you, i'm taken by surprise ... like a false testimony for example, based on assumptions instead of reason; ... not to call it delusion😆 - i am angry at you and i expect a glimpse of remorse from you, showing you become aware that behavior was bad, ... not to call it apologizing😉; that would cool me right away and make it all good in a bit; - if i see no glimpse of awarness on you, after my internalized rage is cooled off i'll get in touch with you again finally, forgive everything and so; - i won't forget that you lack awarness more then i expected ... not to be harsh and to say you didn't had the guts to forgive yourself and face me;

Let's meet🙂!". PS: be aware constantly he said he didn't "disappear". I would be careful not to use that word with him, as i feel he might find it innapropiate as meaning, critic or accusatory towards him. Last year he messed up by not going to his best friend's wedding because of drama he caused, and put me in the middle of the dispute. Now he said he doesnt want to talk anymore. Our friend group lost quite the respect but trying to let him back into their lives slowly. He is pissed at me now. Haven't heard from him since Sept. I think Scorpios need to understand something much deeper in life. They lack wisdom, most of them. With great power comes great responsibility. And if you misuse the responsibility you turn powerfully evil. Firstly a few people from all signs are intelligent. The lighter air signs or firey fire signs wouldn't exist if they weren't meant to exist in this world. And they bring another type of intelligence & depth to the world and balance the energies. Besides every human has a combination of planets, signs, houses in their chart. So some Scorpios would also have fire, air elements within their own chart affecting them. Infact Scorpio's lord is Mars which in itself is a very firey planet. There could be a thousand reasons why a human being is acting 'frivolous'. They may have experienced a trauma on the account of someone else and are therefore unable to trust just like a Scorpio is unable to. For eg, I was 5yrs old (I am not Scorpio) and my elder Scorpio sister did something mean, something I remember even now that I am 37, and I have never trusted her again & it was 1 of the reasons because of which I developed a sense of mistrust in people. Every human's soul's innate nature is to have faith. So, babies are mostly trusting. But experiences in life changes our ability to trust and therefore sometimes people themselves become untrustworthy. Also Scorpios very often hurt other people so they are sure to get the treatment in return. Nobody wants to be hurt. And not everyone will stay silent when scorpions hurt them. Scorpions feel they "know" people, they know what's going on beneath the surface. Then they should really be able to understand other signs with wisdom and compassion and not just critically and judgementally. But since they don't understand this depth in humans, I find scorpions to be very childish in their reactions & a little too proud about the fact that they "understand". & I feel this inability to truly deeply understand human nature hurts them and keeps them hurt forever. And in turn they hurt others ruthlessly. That's not the wisest thing to do. I feel bad for them, for my sister also. If they truly had deep understanding, they would feel sorry for the childishness of the world and therefore would feel compassionate towards it while also sharing their deeper observations & understanding & helping others come out of their childishness. Not hurt others instead. Personally, I worked hard on myself, on my various traumas, & have been able to understand people from a much deeper place. I'm a work in progress but much more trusting, forgiving and supporting than I was. I do find some scorpions have depth but then I find a few people from all the 12 signs having such depth.

Scorpio has 1 000 001 things on his plate. He put it there. He pursued a relationship with me. He was very attentive and our relationship grew. After a year we hardly see each other and his communication is very little. I think I'm in the 2nd million of things of his life suddenly. He is always busy doing charity work, active in PTA and politics so when I ask for some of his time how is that hurting him? Should I know that he's always busy and should settle with that? People im not close to hears exactly whats on my mind (no filter lol) if im really close to you and i go silent (like with person im involved with) and i go silent on them then its 100% over. There is nothing that can be said or done at that point in the relationship. I dont give up on relationships easily at all but once im done im completely done. Wierd. She poured out her heart to me. It was full of deep loss and fear from a bad last relationship. I got it. I felt it. But, that was not me. Next day, she ghosted me after half-explaining how confused she was. I waited a bit. Felt like she would be back. It confused me, but i knew i didn't want to be with a runner. After three weeks, i accepted it and got over it. And 2 months later, i moved on. On the fourth month, she came back.. I told her it was disrespectful, and im now with someone else. Kind of sucked. Im scorpio. The silent treatment is when we are hurt. We feel this hurt deeply, even by the smallest details. True, its a form of punishment. Like u dont get/deserve my attention for hurting me. But this only happens when we reaaaaally care about you. The only way we can hurt deeply. Otherwise we dont care if u mean nothing to us. It is also a way of protecting you from the rage we feel deep inside. So as not to hurt you with a burst of anger.

This is abuse.. If you give them space and wait around they will go silent more than they did before each time.. I had this guy I was falling in love, he iced me out around a weekish before, I gave him space like suggested and dragged him back but next month he gave it to me for 2 weeks.. You can't live like that, if they really care about you, they wont give you silence more than a few days.. I tried to make him talk as sweet as I can be as a cancer.. Nothing.. Didnt even demand an explanation but still nothing.. I broke up with him then , cause if they wanted you they wouldnt do that anyway.. He left my break up on seen but still checks my IG stories.. I told him to leave my life as I was leaving his, I unfollowed him and never check his stories etc.. but he still follows me and checks mine.. So tempted to remove him from m followers at this point.. Cant handle this abuse and childish behavior any longer..

After that many years we both grew out of each other and I found myself having to make the decision to start over again with a 13 & 16 yr old. Best decision I ever made! I did eventually get married again to this Scorpion man and been with him 10 yrs. with that being said. I know myself worth. And I would start all over again on my own if I had to. You need to know your self worth. You need to be happy for you and your kids. I agree, I think space is important if I have been hurt by someone close to me, I take a breather, take a step back come back level headed and mature, and say what bothered me. But, imo if that person came back to me as you did with your SO, by being sweet and caring it would, for me at least, make me more than happy to have a civil discussion. Helpful tips: ask what's wrong, listen, apologize, just be caring towards our feelings. Scorpios hold a lot of pain and darkness inside, they tuck away from others and the world. I broke it off with my gf recently because I was telling her things I didn't like about her life and influences and she wasn't really changing and I kinda think people only change if they want too. I didnt know what to say. I kinda think Scorpios think people think the way they do and they should already see the issue and solve it. I kinda just blocked her out. I'm not proud of it but I literally severed the connection we had for eight months and it was like a switch just on then off. It did however slowly eat me alive. And cause me huge anguish. I disagree. You give me a reason to give you the silent treatment. If I've effectively communicated with you over and over, if I've given you boundaries and you've crossed them on purpose, that is your fault. What is the point in me telling you I'm not talking to you if you were never listening in the beginning. Again, each circumstance is different, some people are damaged by people with motives and have gotten to the point of having no problems cutting ties with people who bring misery.
Why blocking though? That is just as childish as solitude might seem to some people. Scorpio’s silence does not come from selfishness, it comes from emotions that are so strong that they need to withdraw in order to be able to make sense of a situation and to protect those emotions.

I don't give the silent treatment to regular folks (those i face them hard), i give silent treatment to those i care the most and it's more a self-control mechanism, it's to spare them of my regular rage, my ugliest side. I go silent and distant so i can cool off the anger that builds more quickly when dear ones don't get it the first time i explain a certain behavior is bad. The message in my silent treatment:
- i care alot about you, cuz you have very good morale principles;
- when i witness a bad behavior on you, i'm taken by surprise ... like a false testimony for example, based on assumptions instead of reason; ... not to call it delusion😆
- i am angry at you and i expect a glimpse of remorse from you, showing you become aware that behavior was bad, ... not to call it apologizing😉; that would cool me right away and make it all good in a bit;
- if i see no glimpse of awarness on you, after my internalized rage is cooled off i'll get in touch with you again finally, forgive everything and so;
- i won't forget that you lack awarness more then i expected ... not to be harsh and to say you didn't had the guts to forgive yourself and face me;

PS: be aware constantly he said he didn't "disappear". I would be careful not to use that word with him, as i feel he might find it innapropiate as meaning, critic or accusatory towards him. I would've used "you're not next to me" instead of "you disappear".

Last year he messed up by not going to his best friend's wedding because of drama he caused, and put me in the middle of the dispute. Now he said he doesnt want to talk anymore. Our friend group lost quite the respect but trying to let him back into their lives slowly. He is pissed at me now. Haven't heard from him since Sept. I think Scorpios need to understand something much deeper in life. They lack wisdom, most of them. With great power comes great responsibility. And if you misuse the responsibility you turn powerfully evil.
Firstly a few people from all signs are intelligent. The lighter air signs or firey fire signs wouldn't exist if they weren't meant to exist in this world. And they bring another type of intelligence & depth to the world and balance the energies. Besides every human has a combination of planets, signs, houses in their chart. So some Scorpios would also have fire, air elements within their own chart affecting them. Infact Scorpio's lord is Mars which in itself is a very firey planet.
There could be a thousand reasons why a human being is acting 'frivolous'. They may have experienced a trauma on the account of someone else and are therefore unable to trust just like a Scorpio is unable to. For eg, I was 5yrs old (I am not Scorpio) and my elder Scorpio sister did something mean, something I remember even now that I am 37, and I have never trusted her again & it was 1 of the reasons because of which I developed a sense of mistrust in people. Every human's soul's innate nature is to have faith. So, babies are mostly trusting. But experiences in life changes our ability to trust and therefore sometimes people themselves become untrustworthy. Also Scorpios very often hurt other people so they are sure to get the treatment in return. Nobody wants to be hurt. And not everyone will stay silent when scorpions hurt them.
Scorpions feel they "know" people, they know what's going on beneath the surface. Then they should really be able to understand other signs with wisdom and compassion and not just critically and judgementally. But since they don't understand this depth in humans, I find scorpions to be very childish in their reactions & a little too proud about the fact that they "understand". & I feel this inability to truly deeply understand human nature hurts them and keeps them hurt forever. And in turn they hurt others ruthlessly. That's not the wisest thing to do. I feel bad for them, for my sister also. If they truly had deep understanding, they would feel sorry for the childishness of the world and therefore would feel compassionate towards it while also sharing their deeper observations & understanding & helping others come out of their childishness. Not hurt others instead.
Personally, I worked hard on myself, on my various traumas, & have been able to understand people from a much deeper place. I'm a work in progress but much more trusting, forgiving and supporting than I was.
I do find some scorpions have depth but then I find a few people from all the 12 signs having such depth.

Scorpio has 1 000 001 things on his plate. He put it there. He pursued a relationship with me. He was very attentive and our relationship grew. After a year we hardly see each other and his communication is very little. I think I'm in the 2nd million of things of his life suddenly.

People im not close to hears exactly whats on my mind (no filter lol) if im really close to you and i go silent (like with person im involved with) and i go silent on them then its 100% over. There is nothing that can be said or done at that point in the relationship. I dont give up on relationships easily at all but once im done im completely done. I never took an Ex back before cause i don't go backwards, only forward lol. Wierd. She poured out her heart to me. It was full of deep loss and fear from a bad last relationship. I got it. I felt it. But, that was not me.
Next day, she ghosted me after half-explaining how confused she was.
I waited a bit. Felt like she would be back. It confused me, but i knew i didn't want to be with a runner. After three weeks, i accepted it and got over it. And 2 months later, i moved on.
On the fourth month, she came back.. I told her it was disrespectful, and im now with someone else. Kind of sucked. She broke her own heart. She really missed a golden opportunity.
