Shara Magomedov has his first auto in Topps now on his last print run from October 26th as a random insert when you bought the base card...they made 41 of them all /25 or less . Will be interesting to see which one gets labelled his first auto since that one was already sold.
Great video, Z. I personally appreciate your contributions to the UFC card hobby. I don't collect anything else. At first glance, I was going to pass on this product and wait for Topps Finest.... but your video has convinced me to take a risk and grab a few boxes just for the experience. Gračias amigo.
Thanks for the support man I appreciate that and I’m glad you’re getting some value from the vids! It’s a risky endeavor but the price point is pretty decent. Hope you have fun and get some bangers 🤙
I pre-ordered one but the dang post office is on strike in Canada. 129.99 American turns out to be 296.00$ Canadian after shipping plus 66.00 duty tax. Anything here is such a stupid price. Thanks for bringing the inside scoop bud. You're my go to! Not excited about a Kayla auto but they look awesome. I want that MVP RC ! Gold splatter 🔥 Thanks for sharing. Have a good week!
Dude this is INSANE! Hope the postal workers get it figured out, I know their wages are pretty low here as well so something maybe we could also see in the future.
Congrats on the well earned 1K! I picked up one box to rip for a video. Was debating about grabbing a second since it’s a lower pricepoint, but the designs and checklist both aren’t super appealing to me. I like SSPs but don’t feel that there needs to be more than one or two per set.
@@AlbinoManateeNation Nice, good luck on the rip, I’m happy the prices are continuing to fall. If this was $125.99 pre-order from the big distributors that would be solid. Haven’t thought too long or hard on the ideal amount for me but I think two would be a sweet spot, we’ll see how this product feels with 3.
great vid. love when u break down the odds on hits. i wasnt excited for this release...but kinda itching to do a break and this is low cost. question- would you do this or knockout based on price point and odds of hits
Glad you're getting something from the odds breakdown I know it helps put things in perspective for me! Hmmm tough question here, design and visual preference aside I think the best way to put it would be Knockout has a lower floor because of the entry price, but a higher ceiling because of the on-card potential hits. Gold Label has a higher floor because of entry price and potential value recoup but a lower ceiling because of stickers and lower quality card-stock. 🤷hopefully that can help your decision.
hmm thanks for the preview. I'm not sure how I feel about the design. I like the price, which is definitely needed; UFC card boxes need to be a lot cheaper than other sports to help grow the collector community, especially when even low-numbered cards will go for $15-20. I think I'll just get one of these. I'm not too crazy about it based on what I've seen, which is a shame because it's a decent price!
Ya the early up charge for presale seems to be a theme but I know with my luck I wouldn’t be able to get one if they sell out. 12 box’s is crazy good luck!
technically SSP has not gone anywhere...the technical definition of an SP is /99 or less (nothing else higher is considered SP) and SSP is /49 or lower. Simple enough. The terms has been thrown around VERY loosely on eBay and moprhed into some crazy high print runs. Those are the OG (and ones I still use) definitions for them.
You can cling to whatever semantic argument you want if the manufacturer is calling them SSP’s then that’s what they are🤷♂️. But agreed with SP, SSP, case hit all meaning some form of the same thing it can get confusing. Which is why Im glad they at least have the odds sheet now.
I am gonna say this carefully. The price is spot on for Topps Gold Label. Even if you get it at $150. It's worth it. $125ish is the right number though.
@@The047SportsTCGCards Agreed. $125 is the cheapest UFC Hobby we’ve ever seen! Seems right about for where you’ve been wanting the price this year. Hoping the product looks good in person and this price is a sign for next years releases (I would expect Finest and Royalty to be much more pricey 😅)
Hard pass on this set for me, I will wait until they are going for 80-90 a box...wont take long. Feels like a Donruss set but less pretty. Harrison already has a rookie card back in 2012 Topps.. I would rather have that one. All sticker autos paper stock, nah im good. I will wait until the price drops, grab a few boxes and throw them in the closet and never look at them again for 20 years LOL>
For Harrison are you talking about her Judo card? That’s a cool one but I would imagine her first licensed UFC Rookie card will be the one people will want long term (Especially if she becomes champ). Has any hobby in recent memory hit $80? That seems unlikely but would be good value if it does!

Great addition, I forgot about this one! Agreed only time will tell on what the people want.
Great info Zac! 👊
@@TheGoldenOctagon Thanks man, appreciate you.
My local store just got them.
I just don't know if ita worth the 130 bucks
Need to secure one of these! 😬 Love the SPP odds comparisons with other inserts we’re familiar with. Congrats on 1K brother! 🔥🔥🔥
@@ufc_card_fiend Hopefully you can get in on the Topps drop. $125.99 is awesome!

Awesome checklist rundown, thanks for the shout out! Looking forward to ripping a couple boxes! 💪🏽👊🏽

I'm excited getting 12 boxes, the only thing I hate is how late they announce upcoming releases & the price gouging on all the retailers.
