I liked the statement by Kirk Woller regarding what Jesus was trying to teach “Can I just put you ahead of me?” And Jonathan saying “these issues we wrestle with every day but to hold onto faith, trust and surrender” The Chosen is an extraordinary series! Everyone should see it!! 💕
This is the most valuable depiction of all the Jesus films I have seen. It shows that he is human and he has a sense of humor and I thouragly enjoy watching it although it will take a while for us to see the entire film soon in South Africa. It made my faith stronger and I am a born again Christian since 2008 but it has brought me so much closer GOD than ever before. I thank you all fro. The Chosen for this beautiful, wonderful and sad story that ends in so much wonder and happiness.
'I am here for your heart.' 'A kingdom of another kind....' I have listened to so many intelectual religious 'sit-ups' in my life as to what 'the Jesus kingdom' is supposed to be. I arrived at praying for it adding: 'Whatever your vision is...' I chose to meet the challenge to believe one knows, while we all only can assume, with 'I do not know' and that keeps me open for guidance today. I appreciate to be inspired to live peacefully with 'not knowing'. It keeps the brain free from too much stuff. 🌼✨

people, throughout history, have been hungry the word. in the middle ages and prior to the reformation were not allowed to own a bible. when people got their hands on a bible and could read, they consumed the word. and remember how many died trying to get the bible to the public. this series is our being given the bible. it is an amazing how hungry people are for the word.
This series is nowhere near being the same as God making it possible for the Bible becoming more available, particularly because the "Jesus" in this show is nothing like the Jesus in the Bible. Jesus didn't have long hair, He didn't struggle with sermons, and He didn't tell ppl to rely on their heart. The "Jesus" in this show is just another counterfeit that is accepted by ppl who don't study the Bible or even believe what it shows about the real Jesus.

Went to see season 4 episodes 1-2-3 with my daughter last nite - we took a road trip as the movie wasn’t shown in our town….a little over 100 miles- OMG 😳 Dallas told everyone not to SPOIL THINGS FOR ANYONE & this is not what I’m going to do…like many others after the show was over, I just sat there…& waited for the emotions to render me capable of moving again… never have I seen something so beautifully done! Thank you Dallas & all the teams…I know that when the DVD 📀 comes out I’ll be getting it to add to my collection!!🙏🏼❤️🇨🇦💙❤️🎶🙏🏼

Im in Perth, Western Australia & was so excited to go to cinemas to watch 'The Chosen'. I dont know why but we only got ep 1&2..i even waited to see if ep 3 would start..but staffcame in to clean & said that was it! It was great but was so looking fwd to Ep 3. Anyone know why only Ep1&2 & if any other country experience this
What is it about the show? The presence of God Almighty Himself as He sees His Word being portrayed and through that portrayal reaching millions of people who have never really read the Bible.

I don’t ever mind if they add scenes to the show that aren’t specifically in the Bible, as long as the scenes don’t take away from what is in the actual Bible. Ramah’s death will likely help to shape Thomas’s character much in the same way that Eden’s miscarriage helped bring Simon to where he ended in season 3z.

The "actual" scriptures are all some people need but to think that The Chosen should not be supported because it's not word-for-word from the Bible is foolish. The Chosen shows us the emotions of the people. I like that they show us relationships and personalities. Since the Bible doesn't document their day to day conversations, it makes the people relatable which, in turn, has lead people back to the Bible. How can that be bad? YOUR way is not the ONLY way. If The Chosen helps people, like myself, to make more sense of the scriptures, so be it. Just because it's not your way, don't be so quick to judge. It comes across as you needing your path to feel superior to the path of others. You should rejoice that The Chosen has brought people closer to Jesus. That is the point of The Chosen. After all, WWJD?🙏🏻
I Stopped watching the chosen when I saw unscriptural scenes and ideologies Especially the scene of PETER‘s wife having a miscarriage in the midst of the powerful Jesus! Jesus healed Peter’s mother in law of fever but cannot heal a miscarriage? What blasphemy!
He didn't heal everyone. That was part of the tension. Relating to real life. Why he heals some people and not others. Personally I wouldn't have gone that route as a writer, and kean more toward Jesus healing. I had more problems with him not healing James. But...I get they're trying to show people in the chosen that are like us.
Jesus chooses even until this day chooses who to heal and who not to heal . It’s up to him. His ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts . Jesus heals many people but sometimes he doesn’t and it’s his business. There are reasons for what he does . He loves all people the same. He is good all of the time we are not . We are sinful people.
Plus in the thumbnail here...looks like Jesus is being physically held back/restrained by two men? What's that about? Our Savior never had to be restrained or held back by anyone for any reason. Now THAT doesn't feel quite right, certainly not Biblical. Can someone please explain?

I’m surprised that CBN supports The Chosen. There are so many reasons not to, starting with actual scripture vs. The Chosen and their version of it.
