    “Big Mean Elk.”
You can find these on the Oregon Coast, too - Astoria, Cannon Beach, etc.

Recently, wolves were released in Grand County, Colorado. it won't take long before the wolves find the elk in Estes Park.. These elk are use to seeing dogs, so they will think that a wolf is just another inconvenience. Until the wolves kill them. Scenes like this are going to be a thing of the past. Enjoy this video, it will be all we have left of the elk. A BIG-BIG THANK YOU to all of you who voted to bring wolves to Colorado; you have killed these elk. !

I’m a Colorado native been here all my life I just wish these humans would just leave them alone eventually if these Elks aren’t left alone Estes Park won’t ever see them again because they’ll migrate to Wyoming or Canada were they feel safe it’s sad these Elks lost their territory.

Just the opposite happens. All recent wolf reintroductions have had nothing but positive effects on the wildlife populations and the environment.

@@bobbyd6680 you are so wrong. Go to the State of Idaho and Montana and ask them. you will see all the unintended consequences that the wolves have caused.. the sharp decline of deer. elk and moose populations. And, the problems ranchers have to endure with live stock predation. Idaho officials have to shoot wolves from helicopters in order to control the wolf populations and protect other species. So you think that is success ??

@@calf6349 deer populations aren’t meant to mill around on lawns by the hundreds. Diseases like CWD thrive in such conditions. The reintroduction of wolves might mean you see fewer elk, but that’s far from a bad thing!
Natural grazing patterns are better for wildlife if all kinds, and weak individuals are picked off before illness spreads.
Farmers losing livestock is an unfortunate side effect, but the actual numbers are far less than what is lost to just stray dogs.
Wolves invasive; they’re reclaiming their native range and it is a good thing.
The culls are not supported by any researchers, only a political move to pacify certain demographics…

@@averycheesypotato In regards to deer milling around lawns: I could not agree with you more. they shouldn't be in yards by the hundreds. that problem starts with people feed them. Which is illegal here in Colorado, but people are too selfish to realize the harm they are doing. And I agree with you about CWD. when deer congregate in such close proximity and don't naturally disperse back into the wild country side diseases can and do spread through the herd. Back in the 1800's or early 1900's wolves and other predators, bears, mountain lions and coyotes were very instrumental in controlling herd sizes and health. however, today wolves are not needed because we have science on our side. Wildlife agency across the continent employ biologists who do amazing work determining the carrying capacity of all ungulates upon the landscape. if populations increase too much. they issue more hunting licenses to bring the herd numbers back into the objective parameters. There is no scientific basis for reintroducing wolves. it is all emotional. there is so much more to add, maybe later. it is a pleasure communicating with you !
