Complete novice to mountain biking, but I fell off at 4:21... no idea how but I ended up getting air off the slight bump you see in the video - ended up in the hedge! Appreciate the effort gone in to this video though! Seems a fair review of the route for sure
We went up to Haldon first thing this morning. The weather was cold but beautiful-Warm up on the discovery trail-stunning views before going on to this one. Great fun, we got covered in all sorts of muck-then went to Greggs for bacon butties-great start to Christmas :)
Went for my first ride on any sort of push bike in around 10 years on Saturday. Bought a 2nd hand hardtail bike and although I had great fun I feel I need to go alot more for one to get fitter and two to improve my riding speed and ability... Alot. A friend I rode with was ahead quite alot and I did manage to get a good size bald spot on my rear tyre. Handy to know its only 15 minutes from home though. Great vid hope to see you up there sometime!!
Nice work jack. The trails at Haldon are pretty good for a local ride. Especially if you are only 15 minute away. The more you ride the fitter and more confident you will be. Keep it up!
@@bikeandbeyond Thanks man! Turns out I have a warped disc hence the bald spot! Keep on with the vids enjoying watching them and planning trips further down the line due to seeing your footage 👌
Hi Stafan, I always leave a full list of all my kit and cameras in the description of the videos. I think this was one of my old Go Pro hero models. I now use a GoPro Hero 8 Black for filming.
This is arguably one of the most ridden mountain bike trails in Devon. Have you ridden it? What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments below.

@@TheVanderfulLife Good effort! There are a few bumps on that part of the route that can certainly catch you out.
I love the small twisty trees it’s slightly tricky

No 1080p in 2020, really.
