I joined a game with a bunch of 12 year olds and one asked me "Excuse me Mister we're waiting on a friend can you please find another session?" He was the most polite 12 year old I've met for years so of course I said "Sure mate, enjoy your game" and left. That's the context of my decision of what happened next time. Because a few days later I joined a game and spawned almost immediately in the brig, with blokes throwing water and spew all over me, calling me fat, shooting me and all the rest and demanding I "F*** off!" So I didn't. Then they got all dewey, "Come on man, we're waiting on a friend, just f*** off!... please" But I'd already decided due to their treatment I was gonna wait them out. Then I started getting messages from the friend in waiting, but still - f*** them. Then they made a critical error - they hit a Skull Fort, probably thought I wouldn't know (but I could hear it all) or wouldn't wait and leave while they did it and so there'd be some treasure for their friend in waiting. They come back and I'm still there. "C'mon man, just f*** off and let our friend join!" That's when I finally spoke for the very first time "When I get my money." Their collective jaws hit the ground but OK they said we'll give you some treasure "and then you leave OK". They get to an outpost and cash a chest or two "Ok you've been paid, now leave". I say "And the rest, you hit a Skull Fort after all". Abuse abuse abuse, but they go cash in plenty and then let me out of the brig. "OK you can go now, search the boat if you want." I say "If you've cashed in all the treasure, then there's no need for you to stay ion the session, you can just go" (Because I knew there was a lot of places to hide treasure on the outpost). Abuse! But then finally the last few chests are cashed ($14k for me, just for doing jail time). Then they're still telling me to f*** off. I tell them the story of the polite 12 year old kids and how they could learn something from that and tell them the only way this is finishing is when they leave the session because I certainly am not. The really cranky one starts off "Your'e a..." I interrupt and shout "I'm a pirate! And you've just been pirated!" That finally shut them up and they left the session still abusing. I couldn't resist one last shot and so messaged Captain A...Hole "You'll remember me as the best pirate you ever crossed." By god I enjoyed every minute of it, and this went for an hour plus. Brig's not so hard, just sit on something else (I was on RUclips on my computer) and flick the stick every now and then so as not to time out. Don't let the screws screw you.

First "argument" - 1:00 Killing the Raid Boss - 3:12 Locked in the brig - 4:00 Shit talking me while in the brig - 4:45 They sink our ship - 7:24 They let me out of the brig - 9:13 I find the hidden Stronghold loot - 11:13 They lock me in the brig again trying to keep me from finding the loot - 12:33 They let me out of the brig to turn in the loot - 14:15
All that really was about, is the guy wanting to control you and the situation. Because you did not comply he went postal for losing control over you and your defiance. Kudos to you for putting him in his place! This same scenario happened to me about 2 weeks ago and I just waited it out in the brig and got all the loot anyway. LOL
I do this all the time, I got brigged for suggesting we cancel their low level quest and do a higher level one, sat in their brig for 4 hours watching a CSGO tournament.
He is old enough to "own" a house and has to tell someone online that he does but wishes their mother would die infront of them. That left me amazed that maturity can be so low.
I spent 45 min it the brig in similar circumstances. They eventually ditched the loot drove into the red sea and quit. Before the ship sunk I saw the map and the island they had left, so with the new ship and crew spawning in I found and cashed in the old crews loot
To the people who try to defend the other players by saying he could've just joined their party and that the guys tried to be nice; They weren't nice to him at all. He tried saying no POLITELY at first he even said he would gladly talk to them in team chat since the guys said they wanted him there for proper communication when 'proper communication' could've been achieved via the in-game chat! Somewhere around a quarter through the video the guys even admitted to trying to get him to leave since the beginning so even if he did join the party he would've just been insulted by the people in game PLUS their friend who was trying to join and God knows who else. It would've done jack squat with the abuse they were hurling his way And even if you say that they just 'got pissed' (which I doubt since they were assholes from the beginning) that DOESN'T give them the right to say "I hope you have a horrible life and that your mom dies in front of you." Seriously?! How is that fine? Honestly, I think he handled that pretty well. Kudos to you for having the patience to stick with those guys for that long.

Toxic people like him should learn how to treat other people with some respect, even when you're behind a computer screen or a TV. It's so easy to throw these heavy insults when you know nobody can't get to you and you won't have to face any consequences. You're obviously the more mature person in this situation and I hope people take an example out of this on how to treat toxic players in a fun and entertaining way.

We had an epic 2v2 sloopbattle at 4am to 6am and after sinking them twice we cashed my friends first Fort Loot, since he just started playing with me 2 days ago, this was an incredible experience.
Disabled Cucumber oh yea, they found out I was streaming and started listening to what I was saying on stream! That last clip was after about 30 minutes of arguing while going to get the loot after I found it

I enjoyed it very much. I boggles my mind, as to why they wanted to fuck you over though. or ask for you to leave before the end of the fort. Asking you to leave before the sweet reward is not reasonable by any standards at all.

one time someone locked in the brig for no reason and then like half an hour later this other dude from another ship came up to me and was like "hey why are you in here" then i said "all i did was shoot a cannon in the air" then he like "ooh thats stupid reason ill make them let you out brb" then i just hear a bunch of guns go off and stuff and the guy comes back like "ok they will let you out now" then i was finally free
Hilarious! Any time this happens I just say, "You all must be new, I'll just chill in brig until you vote me out." The best is when they flood the bottom level of the ship to drown you. Then you're able to roam around the ferry and talk to random players that have died. And I never join random party chats. 99% of the time there will be a random kid screaming.
i once joined my friends a threw a 5000 coin chest out and made them so mad they put me in there called me annoying and after 4 hours they leave it was night and i got sad people suck
I sat in the brig for an hour and a half because they had like 3 missions left in their Athena. I don’t know why it took them an hour and a half to finish 3 missions.
that was pretty damn amazing, to be honest. they should have just said hey dude can you please leave we want a friend to join and u bumped in early. we were waiting at this skull for for our friend, instead of putting him in the brig and trying to hide their loot.
I joined another sloop crew the other day to take down a galleon at a fort, and they wanted me to join their Xbox chat (I'm also on PC), but network issues prevented it; they understood, though.
I just dont know why they wouldn't be like "hey! We can help you with this raid but after we turn the stuff in we are going to bail and pick up our friend" instead of being dicks and get flustered that you wouldnt leave even though you did more work than they did on the raid and deserve the right to get it but hey! I also understand that you didnt want to say that you stream in the beginning because 1 it would sound snarky/gloating or make them think that they should treat you like a king and 2 will give them another thing to make fun of even though that happened at the end so MEHHHH.
