honestly, isinwheel was my first electric board. I got the v8 and loved it. When I needed something with more range. I made the mistake of following SD Esk8s advice and buying evolve. within the first 60 days of ownership I had to bring the evolve into the oceanside location 5 times. Even then it still suffers from cut outs. My cheapo $370 V8 from isinwheel has had ZERO problems. ZERO. I was very happy when the V10 came out. Haven't ridden it yet, but already know I trust it more than any Evolve.
I'm impressed with it as well, been riding it around and putting through the paces and like I said in the video, being able to carve as hard as I want and not have any wheel bite. really impressed with that, just soft bushings for my weight easy fix. but overall id be happy if the v10 was one of my first skateboards as well. I mean I rode v3 hub drive forever thinking it was the greatest thing out there.
@@DrewElia we gotta get isinwheel ( I call it I sin wheel instead of is in wheel) in touch with riptide. If the v10, V8, V6 shipped with quality bushings it would surely stimulate competition to do better in the trucks department. Seems like they got something right with the electronics. One thing I loved about the v8 was the swappable battery. I could go on and on about my excitement for development in battery technology but I’ll spare you lol.
I think I’m getting one and I’m so surprised when I saw how high quality your video was I thought you would have had a million subscribers or something but seriously keep up the good work I really liked this review it changed my opinion in the board I’m going to buy
My first board was/is an Meepo, I love it so much, but it's getting to be time for an upgrade. This looks like a really sweet ride, I am stoked for you man!!
@@DrewElia no way!!! That's a cool coincidence. I have the short board though, I thought I would like it better, as an old street skater, but it's way too short, you know the one I mean? I have the extended range one but omfg it's a death trap. I actually put one of those grab poles on it, and that really helps, but then it's more like a scooter now. So then I bought a Wolf King, I have fallen in love with e-sports.
Considering the abuse I have put my V10 through already, it's been pretty solid. It has a slight click noise which I'll fiddle with at some point, and I see the screws through the board under the grip tape (which I see in your video too). I have absolutely beat this thing up, off road, over big bumps, through mud and dirt, light water and it still rides solid. Very pleased.
I have used those honeycomb AT wheels for commuting. They don’t have the best grip but they will never go flat. Lingyi has gotten so much better recently and I have really enjoyed using their ESCs. Easy to control. Very interesting side lights. I too would not mind slapping these on my boards. For Isinwheel, consider using stiffer bushings. On the roadside position, short barrels (0.4”) help greatly. I think I need to give one a try.
very good input and I couldn't agree more, the honeycomb wheels aren't the best grip, but for off-roading, and enjoying a nice carve they were fine! never having to worry about going flat but also having great ground clearance is awesome. I think I know a company that might have some great wheels to upgrade to..........hehe..... bushings are easy to swap out and replace for any company, and it's hard to pick " the right ones" but these were just way to soft for even a light weight rider in my opinion! the lights are super dope. easy to charge, they last for a while, not to sure on the water proof of them but hey, it works for what it is.
Just took out the V10 first run. If u wanna surf an endless wave those honey comes gliiide across the pavement. some riptide kranks would tie it all together. for $615 it’s a great board 100%. I beat it up pretty good for 20miles. I’m in luv😎😎. Great board to get and join the fun💯🔥🔥really good review.
Just got one as my first E-skateboard. The ride is everything I hoped for. I just hope it proves reliable for a long time. These Chinese e-skate companies all make me nervous about reliability and customer service. I wish these were more popular in general in the USA so you could get them in a local shop with local support. The LED light bars stopped working after one charge but I doubt I would ride past dusk much at all.
@DrewElia RipTide sells barrels in .4 .5 .6 and .75 inch. Not sure which to get. I tried emailing iSinwheel but they said they don't have measurements for those
riptide krank barrel bushings, and cones. if you reach out to riptide they can help you choose for your style and weight even! but i ride 90-93a krank formula bushings
I agree with you, I am 215lbs and rode my V10 for the first time today and the bushing feels very soft and instability was an issue today for sure. Which bushing do you recommend from riptide? Thak you for the video, it is awesome.
Personally krank formula and it depends on how you want your ride to be set up they offer DKP set ups for weight classes and riding styles. So I would just go based off of that, I normally rock 90a -93a krank
I wanted to share how much of a game-changer the Krank formula has been for my rides. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for Isinwheel's customer support. First, I had trouble with the skateboard charger, and despite reaching out multiple times, I received no response and had to fix the charger myself. This weekend, the skateboard died after only 2 miles and won't turn on at all. The remote control displays an error message saying 'thumbwheel: RG.' When I called their customer support, I received a message stating they're unable to take my call due to short staff, with no call-back or email follow-up. Given the lack of response, I'll be contacting PayPal to dispute this purchase.
@marceloskyrioca HEY! I’m so sorry that happened to your board but the Chinese holiday has been happening for the past two weeks and they are coming back to work tomorrow the 8th I believe! So before you give up hope is wait to see if they respond back to you in the next day or two! Obviously that’s sucks that it happened. But you have a warranty I’d see what’s up when the come backn
Great question! The Envy offers more powerful motor and the deck is flexy. This board goes farther with the 12/3 battery pack and has the AIRLESS tires plus is a 2-1 in a smaller form factor. So it depends on what you’re looking for? More boosted style or 2-1
Different ESC and Motors draw more power and higher speed! Causes more drain with range. Also AT wheels not pumped up to the proper PSI could hurt range as well
@@DrewElia it got here today, I accidentally bought it a few days ago but tried to refund it. Sadly it was under esk8unity’s code, but it doesn’t do to much anyways. I’ll tell you how it goes and keep up the amazing reviews!!

What about replacing the battery/motor though I don’t see anything on their site for it is everything on it just meant to last for a few years
Companies rarely post spare parts On the website, but this does come with a warranty on parts if you check their policies
I really wish they sold that Velcro LED bar separately. Anyone know something similar?

When I start going to fast my board starts to wobble? Why is this? Is this normal or am I unbalanced?
The DKP could be to loose for you causing speed wobbles. Tighten up the king pins a bit to get the wobble to stop
