Agreed. I have it on iPhone and iMac (as a plug-in of Photos on iMac). I love it. Easy and efficient. I prefer it to Lightroom for that purpose.

I used this app occasionally, but I find when I use the line remove option, sometimes it distorts the image around where the line was. How do I repair the distortions that remain ( slight choppy damage in the remaining image)

It’s my go to app for retouching. I used it when I used Android, and I’m currently using it on my iPhone 13 Pro.

My Galaxy S21 Ultra came with so many built in camera editing features like remaster pictures, remove object, cartoon me, turn photos into line art, water painting, etc; all that you can find in those editing apps that I don’t need to install it on my 13pro Max. I use my iPhone to take pictures and transfer them to my Android to edit the photos because my iPhone does take a little better quality photos than my Android. Maybe one day Apple will catch up to Android.

The Touch retouch app only allows 1 image per day, unless you pay for the app. You make it seem like it’s included in Photos.

You'll need to download the TouchRetouch app first. Once done, you'll see the option to import from the Photos app. Alternatively, you can import the image from the app itself.

Great idea but this app is $39.99/year and not highly-rated. It is also not compatible with an Apple Mac. Look at the comments here--you made it sound like everybody had this app on their iPhone when they don't.

  • @vincenthogan7270

@@lola-land yes agreed BUT: as others have said on this thread,
"It might have been helpful to say at the start that TouchRetouch is an app for which you have to subscribe."
"I don't have that option on my iPhone 14 - do I have to download something?"
"Paid advertising per app. I did not expect such a thing from this course, it is very commercial."
So clearly others were not sure either.....as when he starts off people think its part of the course or something on your phone....
So, as I said in my post, it would have been helpful to start off by saying,
"Here is a really useful app that you can buy through the App store and download to your phone"

Another example of apple making you pay for something Samsung does for free. This app only allows one photo retouch a day. Otherwise you have to pay yearly subscription. Apple = greed/cash grab. Unfortunately work makes me have an apple. 😢
