That tall guitarist that makes me think of Bigfoot has a higher voice than I expected. Regardless, TesseracT is brilliant. You'll be my favourite band for a good while I reckon ;)
Really surprised he went with a tuen-o-matic bridge instead of a hardtail. The range of intonation adjustment is so small on tune-o-matics, and he uses a 27" scale to help with intonation with lower tunings so I would have thought he would have also went with a bridge with better intonation adjustment. It's also weird to see an Ibanez RGD with a tune-matic lol
Am I the only one who thinks that using the Ax FX II in the studio and the ultra on tour is a bit backwards? I mean the Ax II has more features than the ultra, and can do scenes, which could make setlists easier for them, especially for touring.
the II sounds better and is way more expeez then the ultra so for touring it makes more sense to bring something thats easier to replace. and they didnt say that they had two axefxII. they might have one just for recording
All the tones on Altered State and Polaris are recorded with the Ultra which is why we use them live. Havn't found a tone that quite works for me with the II yet!
I am surprised to see professional musicians use a windows laptop as a driver for their whole show. Imagine if it would restart and install updates in the middle of a show :-O Or maybe Windows nowadays has gotten more stable. Or they just don't connect it to anything, ever.
all this stuttering and the look on his face, i watched several interviews with him and yes he is kinda shy but this time it seemed like he was in some state of shock. normally he is a bit shy but also very calm guy.
Awesome vid, however... Kiesel has no respect for its customers unless you're in a popular scene. It's a shame and everyone there are assholes. Best of luck to Amos and everyone else in TesseracT
3:20 He meant to say D'Addario lol
XD
The voice of Amos is just SOOOO soothing.
:)

TesseracT shows off some of the gear they use onstage!
Who should we film with next?

Karl Coogan We can try! Ultimately, it's up to them.

Digital Tour Bus No worries, it was a great video :)
the frets on the kiesel bass are so shiny at times it looks almost fretless
Thanks for watching!

Could you get a gear masters with The Devil Wears Prada????
We can try. It's ultimately up to them, not us.
Nah fuck those guys
What's with the tape at the bridge? Is it used for reducing noise aswell?
I believe he explains it for a sec in the video.
Dampens the ringing noise that comes from palm muting and hard strumming

I wish I knew more about this stuff personally. What you're saying makes sense, but I'm assuming they have their reasons.

Joseph Anidjar Thanks for the info!
Likely things like scenes and setlists are moot when you've got external show-controller (the laptop) making all your patch changes anyway.

Age of mercy next please pretty pretty please
I'm not familiar with them, but I'll check them out.
They rock I know they are gonna be on tv on the 22nd Ima be recording it :D
Amos's Voice like Joe of Familyguy
Thanks for watching!!
At first I thought "Rusty Coolie in Brit accent?" and then I was like,"Oh! Tesseract....!!"
Thanks for watching.
That LACS turned me off so hard with the ToM bridge. :/
Where's Acle?
We filmed with the members that the band made available to us. Unfortunately, it's out of our hands who is and isn't in the video.

I can almost guarantee that a Windows laptop wouldn't give them any issues.
If you know how to setup a laptop/computer its fine :) And yeah don't have it connected to the net!
every professional band these days uses laptops, its part of shows and modern music.
@@That_many_watts Sure for cheating in their sound live with all the tricks used in studio they dont want to be true and use another musicians!
What was wrong with James in this Interview? :O
alpenjodel24 I get the feeling he's a shy guy.
There's something wrong with him? He seems fine.
all this stuttering and the look on his face, i watched several interviews with him and yes he is kinda shy but this time it seemed like he was in some state of shock. normally he is a bit shy but also very calm guy.
alpenjodel24 There was something going on that day that had the guys on edge a bit. I can't talk about it, but that might be the reason.
ah understand that, hope everything is fine with these guys!
I make a poopy
he had a guitar custom made but he has cheap looking tape on the neck and bridge--why not build those into the design
Not sure.
Head's commrade
So just FOH. No on stage sound?
I don't believe so.
dead bird on steps they all use inears...

Get a proper hardtail bridge, and you won't need to tape behind that piece of shit tunomatic.
