The Eagles have 3 legit all stars (Dan, Dallas, Whalen) and 2 others that are future stars (landon, blade). Wow. What a performance by the Eagles. Pitching, hitting, defense, team energy..it's all there.

Someone must have said something to him because he put his buddies on the reserve list and has put together a winning team. Blade hit the ball hard before he went on the DL. I would argue that Blade is possibly one of the weakest players in the league. He is always hoping for a walk, and when he does swing it looks like a half hearted attempt. I’ve genuinely thought that since starting to watch the league 2 years ago. Though I do hope he continues to recover well from his surgery.

This one was tough to watch. The Mallards are good, but they've had luck on their side until now. Not having a solid #2 on the mound is going to be an issue, especially when they face a team that can neutralize their bats. As for the Eagles, that's a scary group. Dallas Allen has become the Juggernaut. He's the first half MVP without even looking at batting numbers. The rest of the league better figure somethings out or it's going to be a hammer in one hand and a trophy in the other.
This Eagles team is so likable, man. The full roster shows up every single week, they play hard and together on both sides of the ball, and they get so hyped for one another. Schultz/Allen/Whalen all deserve to be All Stars this season, and I would love to see them win a championship. It’s been too long!

Again, some of my takes: 1. Dallas Allen is an almost MVP candidate if only his hitting was more sound(not that he's not hitting good, just not sound). 2. Mallards are good, just not good enough still! What's important is that they have a lot of room to grow. 3. Robles is good, very very good. But he isn't the best player in the league. Knorp and Allen are clear. 4. Eagles are the favorites, 100%.
Agree, Mallards are lacking depth behind Coughlin and Robles. They need to see what Davenport can bring on the mound. I really think Coughlin needs to move Robles to 2nd or 3rd in the lineup. His bat is way too talented to be hitting only solos.

Not to mention, Yurgaites and Walker supply pitching depth if needed too I hate to say it but I can 100% see a mallards downturn. Robles doesn’t have the most electric stuff on the mound and if he walks guys or leaves it out over the plate, other teams will jump all over it. They have the offense sure, but they need Irwin to step up big time as at least an OBP guy. He didn’t have a bad series or anything but they need to keep their offense potent to make the playoffs. Also, the Mallards desperately need to stick with Davenport on the bump. He deserves much more respect as a pitcher because he’s got the tools in the arsenal to succeed, and y’know, he seems to throw strikes unlike Irwin or Tommy. Going into this I expected Mallards to pull out 2-1 in a close series. Then dirty Dan and Dallas came and showed me that they are probably the team to beat this year. Dallas is an animal on the mound. No runs allowed through 9 games. That's ridiculous with the hitters in the league. Gotta say it everytime though Dback nation baby. We down but not out !!

They have the offense sure, but they need Irwin to step up big time as at least an OBP guy. He didn’t have a bad series or anything but they need to keep their offense potent to make the playoffs. Also, the Mallards desperately need to stick with Davenport on the bump. He deserves much more respect as a pitcher because he’s got the tools in the arsenal to succeed, and y’know, he seems to throw strikes unlike Irwin or Tommy. Definitely riding the Eagles hype train rn tho

Then dirty Dan and Dallas came and showed me that they are probably the team to beat this year.
