I fucking have the vinyl and I always played it at 33 1/3 RPM. And today for the first time I heard a youtube rip at 45 rpm... Only today I discovered this is meant to be at 45, but cmon... Those slower vape feelings are so much deeper at 33!
at slower speed, i percieve the music completely differently... the background crickets which normally i just heard as atmospheric fx now sound like a shaker polyrhythm :0 anyone else hears it too?
Post 2010 Burial too became a 'format'. In essence, Burial's music was significant - it tells of an haunted abandoned landscape - Which is London - dark, violent, decrepit and done-with. Burial was Hyperdub's golden goose.
For anyone wondering why this sounds different than the bandcamp release, this was ripped at 33rpm and it was released on 45s.
i didn't know this came out untill i just typed "death" in googles search, HUGE burial fan
Might be the only one who likes it better at 33.

Burial still making beautiful music. London hardly done-with and far too gentrified to qualify as decrepit. Visit Joburg for a vision of the future.
genius work
Skull Kid...
