Why didn't Ford go to the hospital and have his name put on the birth certificate and then to the courthouse to have the baby named changed. Then it wouldn't matter what Brody, Jess/Tess or even Clint could do to stop him from his child.

It's so wonderful to see Ford with his son, he is an excellent Father, he has every right to have his son. Natalie still doesn't get it, John isn't punishing her for her indiscretion with Brody, he's devastated because she lied to him about something so important, for so long.
