Anyways, here goes nothing: Ever since kindergarten, I've always been known as the "outcast" or "loner" or even the "quiet kid." I wasn't the quiet kid, I was actually a lovely child who loved to express what I liked, but since everyone always stayed away, I couldn't express myself or tell anyone about my special interests. So I shut everyone out (except my sister & family). I have very few memories of younger me, but the ones I do know are where I saw a big group of people or kids and went somewhere else to be alone or with not as many people (probably explains why I have claustrophobia and social anxiety) I don't have many memories of being a child at home, but very few of them (told to me by my mother & father) were abusive but seen as "discipline" for YEARS. I've developed anxiety and depression getting older, and I have had trouble with sh, I am recovering and trying to stay away from it. I think 2 years ago, when I was really deep in the depression hole, I tried to take my life by hanging myself, the rope broke, and I lived. A few months later, I tried to kill myself again, but the same thing happened. I burned my suicide notes I made when it failed and kept everything to myself. I've tried asking for help from my parents, but they turned it into a lecture and did the same one each time I asked for help. Fast forward to now, people ask me, "Are you okay?" "Do you need help?' "Are you doing okay?" I always sat "yeah I'm fine, just tired. " I don't understand how they don't see the signs and how I lie. Im crying for help, but nobody is committing themselves to helping me, and eventually, I won't be here. Back in the 6th grade, I had a few friends, but after being bullied again and again, I walked away, hid myself under a hoodie, and never had a friend thereafter. While I was in school, I practically didn't speak with anyone. I only opened my mouth to show my exercises to the teacher. I was too afraid of being bullied again, always thinking that the other kids were laughing at me, even if they weren't. I don't have many memories from my childhood or my adolescence either. The only memories that I have are of the other children bullying me. Every time I talked to others, I was so anxious that I started crying. Last month, I turned 20. I have never done any of the things most people did, like kissing another person, going to parties, or watching movies with friends. I only have my sister and my mother; they are my only friends and the only people that I've opened up to. Now I have a job as a software developer, and I've been exposed to so much social contact that it's easier to speak, but I still struggle and suffer during these moments. If I could, I would never talk to another person again. It hurts so much. I have never tried to take my life, but every day, I think about it. I have never done therapy; my family is very poor. Now I can afford it, but I don't think it will fix me. I'm happy that you are alive. Things look like shit now, but there are moments that make life worth living. Anyways, here goes nothing:
Ever since kindergarten, I've always been known as the "outcast" or "loner" or even the "quiet kid." I wasn't the quiet kid, I was actually a lovely child who loved to express what I liked, but since everyone always stayed away, I couldn't express myself or tell anyone about my special interests. So I shut everyone out (except my sister & family). I have very few memories of younger me, but the ones I do know are where I saw a big group of people or kids and went somewhere else to be alone or with not as many people (probably explains why I have claustrophobia and social anxiety) I don't have many memories of being a child at home, but very few of them (told to me by my mother & father) were abusive but seen as "discipline" for YEARS. I've developed anxiety and depression getting older, and I have had trouble with sh, I am recovering and trying to stay away from it. I think 2 years ago, when I was really deep in the depression hole, I tried to take my life by hanging myself, the rope broke, and I lived. A few months later, I tried to kill myself again, but the same thing happened. I burned my suicide notes I made when it failed and kept everything to myself. I've tried asking for help from my parents, but they turned it into a lecture and did the same one each time I asked for help. Fast forward to now, people ask me, "Are you okay?" "Do you need help?' "Are you doing okay?" I always sat "yeah I'm fine, just tired. " I don't understand how they don't see the signs and how I lie. Im crying for help, but nobody is committing themselves to helping me, and eventually, I won't be here.

Hey, how are you? I see myself in most of your words. I was also the quiet, smart kid in school. Back in the 6th grade, I had a few friends, but after being bullied again and again, I walked away, hid myself under a hoodie, and never had a friend thereafter. While I was in school, I practically didn't speak with anyone. I only opened my mouth to show my exercises to the teacher. I was too afraid of being bullied again, always thinking that the other kids were laughing at me, even if they weren't.
I don't have many memories from my childhood or my adolescence either. The only memories that I have are of the other children bullying me. Every time I talked to others, I was so anxious that I started crying. Last month, I turned 20. I have never done any of the things most people did, like kissing another person, going to parties, or watching movies with friends.
I only have my sister and my mother; they are my only friends and the only people that I've opened up to. Now I have a job as a software developer, and I've been exposed to so much social contact that it's easier to speak, but I still struggle and suffer during these moments. If I could, I would never talk to another person again. It hurts so much.
I have never tried to take my life, but every day, I think about it. I have never done therapy; my family is very poor. Now I can afford it, but I don't think it will fix me.
I'm happy that you are alive. Things look like shit now, but there are moments that make life worth living. I like to think, I like to have a brain, and I like to understand the universe around me. Hold on to this, the things that you like. Nothing lasts forever. I hope you get better. Thank you for sharing your story :))
