Van Philips recorded few numbers, but all were interesting and varied ,,certainly a great understanding of classical music comes through ,i have his Columbia recording of I Kiss Your Hand Madam which srows a completely differing approach to this number , the slow rythem suits this song so well and the beautiful oboe brings tears to ones eyes.
It's lovely to hear Alan Dell again! I was an avid listener from 1978 until his passing.
