I genuinely love Zach and Bevin. Not only have they built what I find to be the best and most impressive headphone brand out there right now, they're just wonderful to deal with - let's just say I could never never picture a customer support related email ending up with talking about custom keyboards anywhere else. Got myself a copper Atrium now that our retailer has them in EU so that my wife can finally have my Auteur that she's been trying to steal for the past like 3 years. Great video!

I recently got the LTD Camphor Burl Verite Closed and Zach and Bevin stayed in touch via email...answered any questions I had and were just incredible through the whole process. And pictures/videos don't do these ZMF headphones justice. The Camphor Burl are stunning looking when you see them in person. There is depth to the wood like if looking into a cats eye

Thanks Lachlan, Zach, and Bevan for the delightful interview and the questions were excellent. I see some similarities with Tesla when they were first starting out. Create great products, build a loyal happy fan base and then scale up to produce cheaper headphones. I just ordered the Verite Closed from Hugo and really looking forward to hearing the ZMF house sound for myself. Lack of base slam (as compared to Focal Stellia according to some reviewers) is the only worry I have but pad rolling will hopefully fix this. Finally, really happy with the lifetime warranty for the driver.
Glad you liked the interview, Kent. I think you'll be very happy with your VCs. The Focal bass slam comes largely from their tuning approach which is great fun, but can also make them less tonally balanced overall. The VCs will trade off a little of that mid-bass energy for better overall tonal balance I expect (I still haven't tried the Stella so basing this on other Focals I've owned and the general tuning they use)

i now find myself cutting back on spending in every aspect of life so i can be that much closer to my next ZMF headphones. i made a comment about selling stocks cause i’d rather own zmf headphones and i was serious. they will hold their value, will not crash or be affected by putin etc and be enjoyed all the while and can be handed down like family heirlooms and make amazing gifts to loved ones. music is the only thing that doesn’t suck about the human race, it is literally the only thing animals are impressed with about us, and the only good thing we have “brought to the table” since we came along and zach and bevin merbach help us get the most out of it and deserve all the recognition and awards to come. ok maybe certain “medicines” we humans developed are a good thing too you can argue. anyway, always good to see n hear 3 of my favorite humans thanks for this ✌🏼

I get what you're saying, Russ, but your first comment came across judgemental and rude, not helpful. Also, you're assuming that all potential customers value the same things you do which is a common cognitive bias so you're not alone, but it's innacurate. There will be lots of people who don't care what Zach and Bevin look like and others who will love the fact that they show up as they are without needing to create a specific image other than being a couple of people who'd been working all day in their business creating headphones and supporting customers. I'm not saying you're wrong for your preferences as they are 100% valid. I just wanted to shine a light on some other perspectives.

The VC is a superb headphone. Pads are extremely influential to the sound. I've more recently noticed that I love the Universe Hybrids.
