I’ve been shopping from Hobbii for a couple of year now but only from their “big sales”. Since they have sales back-to-back that hasn’t really stopped my stash from growing 😂 But I’d advise everyone to not buy anything unless there’s a sale. Chances are if they don’t have a discount on your particular choice right now there will be within one or two months.
That's a really pretty sock yarn! I really like the idea of a machine wash cardigan. It's so convenient. Those colors are lovely and great for summer. Thanks for the review. It gives more confidence than ordering blind.
I'm using the Friends wool to make the "Tumbling Blocks Crew-neck Sweater" by Kaffe Fassett. My gauge is a little off and I had to add two pattern repeats on the body to get the oversized look, but it's the only wool yarn I could find with so many colors available, and I'm really happy with it !
I like the Hobbii yarns, i made some crochet shawls out of Winter Glow in different colourways, always a pleasure. The so k wool was new to me, i habe to try it, like the ombre-speckle effect! Thanks for the review
Your video was very helpful! I’ve haven’t used this yarn yet so the information you provided was so necessary since I’d be buying the yarn online. I can’t wait to see your finished garments/socks. It’s so awesome that you got free yarn! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Sooo that winter glow yarn. I’ve admired it for a while on Hobbii site but it seemed to me kind of expensive for a wool acrilic blend, even for that pretty big arse ball. I’m quite stubborn and pretty good at searching so I put myself on investigation mode and found out that the yarn is produced in Italy where I live. Yay! also you can get it pretty conveniently from the producer which thing I did. Sorry Hobbii but as a compulsive yarn buyer you have to do what you have to do . I agree about the feel of it not particularly buttery and I must confess I didn’t think a minute of working it with a 5mm needle. I went straight with the 4mm and I stick to it. A ball was enough for knitting a medium fit size of some Isabell Kraemer sweater. Also stunning colors available
😂 You aren’t alone in using the Hobbii Friends wool in a more warm type weather garment- I just did a cabled jumper (The Pine & Fir by Athena Liu) test knit in Hobbii’s Shamrock green colourway, and I loved the look of the garment so much when I tried it on before adding the sleeves that I made it short sleeved 😁with Athena’s permission of course. Irish summers aren’t usually hot, so I can wear it most of the year. Enjoy knitting yours! 🧶
Receiving free yarn = +1 step towards RUclips fiber fame!

I got "Go Handmade" Tencel Bamboo fine from Hobii to make a Cumulus Tee by Petit knit. I like the weight and airiness of it
I really love Hobbii yarn.. i have made a Sophie shawl by PetiteKnit in winterglow and can't wait for colder weather 😍
Love that sock yarn! The winter glow is lovely and reminds me of a Japanese color mix…
Ohh yes it has a similar feel to some Noro yarns!
That sock yarn looks so pretty! Excited for the final result
Amazing timing, I'm waiting on an order from Hobbii right now. Looking forward to ordering now that I've got a better idea about the yarn quality
Hope you enjoy your exciting yarn mail ✉️

that's such a good idea omg
is winter glow itchy at all?
I find it kind of prickly but not itchy... hard to describe! I think if you're very sensitive it might be kind of abrasive :O
Salami & moss in a good way 🤌 ace description
reminded me of Ross' salmon shirt in Friends lmao
