  • Known as the Khajuraho of Assam, Madan Kamdev Temple is situated to the southeast of Baihata Chariali, at the Kamrup district in Assam. It is one of the finest medieval temples in the entire Brahmaputra valley. The temple is dedicated to lord Kamdev, the God of lust.
    It is an archaeological site. The place dates back to the 9th and 10th century A.D. The excavation and ruins is dated back to the Pala dynasty of Kamarup.
