Glad you're getting to know NiziU, one of my favorite groups. Festa was a song exclusively used at Universal Studios Japan for an event they had until it was released on their album. I really like it. I AM was a b-side on their 2nd single, and it's among my top favorites from them. This is the 1st time they've shown the performances outside of their concerts. All their performance videos you can hear the footsteps which I kinda like. :)
NiziU has a lot of high energy, fun songs, I guess some would call them cutesy, but I like it. They seem to be starting to move towards a more "mature" sound now as they're getting older. I recommend the Beyond the Rainbow dance performance video. My favorite song from them and excellent dance choreography. For something a little different check out their mv Chopstick, which uses the famous chopsticks rift.

NiziU isn't J-Pop, supposedly they're a Japanese K-Pop group, if that makes any sense.
If they sound cutesy, do take into consideration that the girls were relatively young when the group was formed (16-19 years old) but lately their sound is slowly maturing. (Think 2016 TWICE vs 2022 TWICE).
Now if you enjoyed these two songs, you're in luck since these aren't even their best stuff (Festa was made for Universal Studios Japan, I AM was a B-side use for a make-up commercial.)
For performance videos, you gotta check out Beyond the Rainbow, their best PV during their 1st anniversary. For MVs, see Chopstick (rapline is insane) and the edgy Clap Clap (which came before Blue Moon). If you want to match names to faces, see their MV Take a Picture (which BTW has also an English version) as a guide to do so pops out at the end. Still my favorite song from them.

Oh I'm most certainly not knocking them about their cutesy sound, I'm a sucker for that type of music.
As for their marketing, I can understand that after listening to some of their music, but I won't pretend to understand it. That's why I didn't go to school as a marketing major XD

Totally just went down a rabbit hole trying to find what the I AM chorus sounds like, still not sure :( Looked at Produce songs, Twice, IOI ? Def sounds super familiar though
