Greetings from Tokyo! Tons of interesting bands and albums I've never heard of! Tons of new music to know about! Thanks for all the discovery! Got turned onto you by Marcia P!
That was a lot of work Craig, and plenty of detail on each of them. I feel a bit sorry for you knowing they all had to go back in the shelves afterwards!!! Some gems, and highlight for me was the Erasure from 1995 - Diamanda Galas guests on a couple of tracks; well done to you for having a copy on vinyl. Oh, and I didn't know you were that old........😀Cheers from Australia. John D
John! It took forever to pull them then put them away. But I survived! Erasure is such a great record. It took me a few years to appreciate it but now it’s my absolute fav.
Craig! Very happy to see that you pulled out all of those records and kept my "thread" alive. :) So many gems. Thrilled to see you also showed the Virgin Prunes. Speaking of Stinkeeeds... I'm pretty sure I bought my copy of Heresie there, many many moons ago. I almost showed First Aid Kit - would've had a hard time choosing between The Lion's Roar / Stay Gold. "Emmylou" and "Waitress" are both perfect songs. Chef's kiss! Thanks again for the all of the kind words and for making the video!
Hopefully we’ll see more videos. It was a great idea! I love First Aid Kit so much. Those two are my favorite I also really love Rebel Heart and Palomino is brilliant. I always go to Stinkweeds when I’m in the Phoenix area. Although it’s been years! Also, your Cocteau Twins & Dead can Dance videos reminded me I needed more of them in my life! I don’t know why I never had any Dead Can Dance on vinyl. Almost criminal!
@@CraigsVinylPlethora The Tempe Stinkweeds was such a great location (as were the original Mesa stores)... as you may know, they moved to Central Phoenix several years ago. A much smaller store, but still loaded with the goods. Ah.. Dead Can Dance, yes... it's time to add (all of) them to your collection! :)
This is a great little video. Great great Great. So interesting to find your choices even for some of those bad years of music- and there were some. It's just a tiny shame you weren't born a few years earlier as you would have dug into some of my favorites. but on the other hand you would be so much older. You begin to notice it once you hit 60. I don't advise it.
Interesting video. Have found out Mighty lemon drops only this summer with their biggest single, i think, Inside out. On "older" i would choose "strangest thing", it has some cosmic feeling for me. And debut album by Tori has my favorite song by her and it is "Precious things". And it is not topic of this video, but thank you for telling about The Darling buds, wow, what a group, love them now.
Thank you! I’m so glad you enjoy the Darling Buds, wish they had more than 3 albums. Strangest things… what an amazing song. The whole record is perfect to me.
Chef's kiss my friend, nicely done. This is a great challenge, I'd likely struggle from late 2000's and after, like most, dropped out of collecting music when streaming came along and only realized how much I missed out within the last several years.
Congratulations on your milestone! Could milestone be the word you were searching for at the start of the video? I thought you had turned 25 this year, but then you kept going ; ) Hérésie is French for heresy. That's not hearsay. You can look it up. Heresy was the charge against the famous Frenchy Joan of Arc that got her burned at the stake. Lee Van Cleef was an actor who is most known for appearing in the Dollars Trilogy of films along with Mr. Eastwood. I hope you learned something here. I've learned about some great music from you. I will be going through a number of your picks in the coming days. Thanks. You're grand!
Yes Milestone! Thank you. I’m like that damn energizer bunny… keep going, keep going. I knew I had Lee’s last name wrong after I said it. You learned me good today! Let me know what you think of the artists you chose to check out. Thanks so much for watching!
Great idea for the video! Loved the Fiona Apple album. Love you! 🤗
Love you girl!

Thank you so much!! Marcia is so great!!
I am too old to participate, born in 1949, a couple weeks after the first 45 was produced.
I enjoyed this Craig, never heard of most of these.
You’re not too old!! Thank you so much for watching.

I adore you! You could always talk about albums you streamed. I’d love to see your take on this.
@@CraigsVinylPlethora I'm digging through CDs (still collect them) as we speak to see if I can get this done, lol.
@@marciap-vc yaaaasss!! Can’t wait to see it.

Thank you John!
