Guys, do NOT get any collectibles of Indian origin. The rarity is completely artificial. There's tons of people hoarding these, here, creating artificial rarity. Avoid Boomer, CF, Big Fun etc at all costs.
Damn straight. There's folks with hundreds of these here. The value was hardly Re.2000 (about $25) hardly a year and a half ago. 99% "collectors" in India are just re-sellers sitting on tons of whatsapp groups.
I don't think it makes sense to throw the baby out with the bath water. The reason that cards get counterfeited is that their desirability and market price is increasing. Jordan rookies are some of the most faked cards out there but that doesn't mean the real ones shouldn't be collected
I'm sure there are a few hoarders out there but I've built a big network and I can assure you a lot of these cards are indeed very scarce and legit Indian collectors pay good money to track them down from other legit collectors
Great work Sal, and cricket community. This is what the hobby is all about. Every day is a school day - however long you've been in the hobby. 👍 Thank you for the interview. 👍
