About the indicator issue: i had the same. It is becasue you have selected the implement, instead of the tractor. When you select the tractor, then the indicators work normally. Not a bug, seems 'by design'. Enjoy the series, keep it up!!
From a financial point of view, loans cna be very useful. especially when the intrest and costs of the loan is rather low. the extra money can fund a much larger income from other sources. Like an extra (large) chickenfarm, more land to grow crops on, expand/improve the collection of machines. The extra income will more then pay for the extra costs. I found that money is not difficult to come by, even on hard setting. With a little patience and restricting yourself, money issues should hardly occur after the first 2-3 game years. Unless you are called Daggerwin and want to explore as much machinery and crops in as little time as possible :P
Townie farmers now quite often take good care of their fields. I have bought fields with crop on them, that have been fertilized twice. So that's improved. Cotton hasn't got more interesting though. It might be a good business now, making clothes of it, but it's quite a tedious thing to harvest. You can do it with sheep too, though.
I recommend you to put the game in high gaphic settings (not very high) and raise to 130 the detail and draw distance. The difference is basically unvisible and the FPS will go solid
Hot tip: Wanna use landscaping tools to make a meadow but the grass won't grow? Just go to plant section and use the meadow tool, it paints it in the same wild grass
Flickering trees might be caused by anisotropic sample optimization in nVidia settings. I had flickering fields, turned that setting off and it went away.
Gotta idea that I did that I'll share with you. That spot where you're parking your semi to load the silage, I lowered that space a bit. A touch longer and wider than the truck and trailer length and width. Then smoothed the entrance and exit, with fences on both sides to prevent forgetting it is there and driving thru it in a rather jank manner. Did that once then put up the fences. Great video, have a very merry Christmas
A nice little hack is to buy the spinnery and do cotton contracts. You get the money from the contract and all the cotton goes into the production cycle so you can pick up way more income! Merry Christmas Daggerwin, and all the best for the new year. Keep up the great content!
Merry Christmas, and just as an FYI. With the Case and JD cotton harvesters, you can unload the unfinished bales whenever you want no matter how much is in them. They don't have to be at a certain level. Just with the JD you should wait until the collector chamber empties into the bale chamber before you do.
When doing harvest missions store the grain untill the whole field is harvested before you take it to the sell point. You get more bonus material left over.
Daggerwin - Just a suggestion when you have to do a lot of loading such as silage, speaking from real-life experience, put the trailer at a 45 degree angle to the silage pit rather than at a 90 degree angle. That way when you're backing up with a load in the wheelloader you don't need to make a full 90 turn. It shaves off a few second each scoop but it adds up over time. Sorry for the late comment just catching up on all the videos... been a busy Christmas.
You’re always losing and misplacing front loader implements… There’s a lovely industrial shelf on mod hub which can be used to store your implements. I keep a bale spike, pallet fork, and two buckets on the shelf and front weighs on the bottom.
The extra income from the Cotton harfvest was massive. I was only expecting maybe 5,000 or 10,000 pounds, but not more. Maybe when I get Farming Simulator 22 I'll try a cotton harvest.
Cotton is painfully slow to harvest (or i'm just impatient) but the profits are big. Specially if you take the time to turn it into fabric and that into clothing.
@@Dr.Obtuse I saw in a video of farmer Klein I think, that it takes a full year to process 1 cotton bale at the spinnery if you buy it, so I guess everything with cotton is about patience 😀
As of now, you dont even have to bring the cotton to the spinery, just harvest the field and when its done it tells you, youre able to finnish it. Then just sell all the cotton as bonus.

I dearly hope u replace the tiny silo at the farm with a bigger one, you´ll lose the bees then, only. Suggest to get rid of the small Chicken and go with a big Bee Pile over there. All the Trees u have been planting - we have seen them by now, IMHO time to get rid and bring the Graves to a profitable setup. Have a merry X-Mas !
When you check the Prices in game, and there is the Green arrow, it means the price Will increase now. So its smart to speed time Up untill it goes away, because then you often get a much Better price.

Hate those fill limits. Not sure if they were there before but I had to leave 1.5 bale's laying around in the spinnery because apparently these get filled now. Not sure if I ever got the money but I left it there for a year, came back and about 5l remained. Not sure if I ever got paid for it lol. Luckily at least the contract finished.
The spinnery is a production so once it’s full…it takes a while to empty. It can hold two full bales in in its storage. If you do another cotton contract after this you will be able to deliver the bales but they won’t disappear. After the contact is completed the bales become yours! Buy the spinnery (it’s storage will be full) and you can make fabric which is worth a lot but worth even more if you turn it into clothes.

Cotton is a legit crop. I field flipped one today. Made 145k on the bales and then sold the field back.
