Geez, the Nate Davis signing is becoming one of Poles worst deals. The guy looked great at Tn but it feels like he just gave up when he got a little wealth. Sad to see cause he could be a big part of this O line if he’d get his head in the game.
@@DAsbury79 he’s finished, he signed out the day he signed with the Bears. He don’t even care a bit anymore. Can’t understand why Poles does not see this. Does the Ol line coach and every see it and can they explain this mess to Poles ?

I said wait til camp right swift, find the holes then. Dexter been awesome, Walker, Billings all looking great. Interior OL not so much. So you go get Connor Williams. He's important to Caleb imo. As Adam has pointed out, makes the whole OL way better.

I’m not mad we went the caleb williams route but i knew in doing so it would make upgrading the oline much more difficult. At Oline we are literally one injury away from being top 15 to bottom 5. We got no good players outside of our starters at that position group. As a life long Bears fan and former olineman im just tired of always seeing our QBs run for their lives.

Mooney would often turn around and jump to catch (or drop) passes that looked as if he could run through and catch over the shoulder.

Saving it for the regular season? Still need to get the plays in, although at least one TE is consistently sitting out at any one point. Some are older and I fear an injury all season long
Carter was a spark in the pan. He was barly ok in his nfl snaps
people seem to forget this is training camp, this is the time you work this stuff out so it doesn't bite you in reg season. you test things out, you experiment. is a bad practice really gonna matter if your winning game come week 1 no it won't.
If Caleb didn’t throw some interceptions I would be concerned. It would mean he’s playing it too safe.

He's look good, honestly 3rd and 4th string QBs haven't gotten many actual reps. Just 1 on 1s and warmups. His biggest chance will come in preseason games

NO!.. Bates should be starting center regardless of what happens to Nate. Bates is the best Center for this roster and young QB.. Cant keep wanting to repeat Juan Castillo's proven mistakes.. You play the best player at that positon and you leave him there, Nate is still a stud. If he goes down or what ever 2nd string guard plays not small quick but weak Sheldon.
Brock Purdy is a basic basic QB player.....and he goes to the SB

Bagents arm strength is AVG get over it. Not below not above.
He has other intangibles to be a solid back up QB at the financial bottom being an UDFA. We have a few good ones of those. That said I wish the cap could be higher and the NFL owners agreed to increase the number of players on the active roster

Steel sharpens steel. I'm not worried about Caleb working his gaffs out. I'm sure he will, but he is a rookie. I know, I know, he's Caleb Williams! I'm happy that he gets to work against a defense that will likely be one of the best in the league for these practices.
I want to see how rookie UDFA QB Austin Reed does in the Hall of Fame game this Thursday. I don't want Eberflus put Williams in that game for a single snap. He can start a couple of the other preseason games.
I'm with you on Shelton starting at center and Bates being a quality backup guard who can step in if Davis fails for whatever reason.
