I must add another comment! I so love how you are including your children in your travels and life itself! My son and I took so many trips together including living in South America when he was in 4th grade and I in my 40’s for a semester on an exchange program. He is now 35 and I 68, and we still laugh and reminisce at the many adventures we have shared and how much fun we have had together. My son is so appreciative of our travels and the life he has been afforded and the uniqueness of his childhood with me.❤❤️ Bravo to you and your husband! Anita
Love reading about you and your son! Absolutely, memories are everything! We’ve been traveling with our kids since they were babies and we wouldn’t trade it for the world! 💗
Love your travel blogs! It provides the right amount of fun, useful information while still keeping most of your activities private. Sometimes I wonder how some creators can enjoy their travels when they film everything.
It was so much fun to see "my "city Zurich and also Zermatt through your eyes. You pictured Milano and Bellagio at Lake Como so beautifully. I am happy you had a great time. Greetings from Zurich
I’m one of your many subbies who live in Switzerland. 😊 We moved here from Canada 3 years ago. Every time I see the mountains (we go skiing A LOT here!) and the beautiful architecture in any European cities, i just cherish how fortunate we are to have the chance to live in such beautiful country.
🙏🏼🙏🏽🙏🏿 I know recording this vlog takes time away from your family and focusing on just your vacation, so allow me to truly thank you from the bottom of my heart, because I enjoyed every moment of seeing it ♥️ ❤️ 😎
It’s was all Google + brainstorming with my husband. It’s literally a step-by-step itinerary that we plan out and sometimes we do it on Excel. This trip, my husband took the reins.
Lots of layers and water resistant boots for Switzerland! Surprisingly my lighter winter jacket worked fine with all the layers and of course I brought my trusty heat stickers that I talk about all the time! Milan was much warmer (30 degrees warmer) so I’m glad it packed in layers. Hope that helps!
Thank you so much for sharing! The views are stunning. I was happy to see your MZ Wallace Jim Bag. You convinced me to buy it and I just received it. Looking forward to using it soon.
Oh how fun! We just took our family trip to Europe for two weeks in March (3/9-3/22) ourselves and we did a part of our trip that's similar to yours. We started in London - Paris - Zurich (just 1 night) - then we took Bernina Express to pass through the Alps. It was amazing! Then we went to Lake Como - stayed in Varenna, and visited Belagio and Menagio. Finally, we went to Milan just for one night before coming back to San Fransisco. We did look at the Duomo and the Gallery. I didn't check out Prada but went in to Gucci, where I got myself a bag while my hubby and son were getting snack. Haha. Great choice of the hotel. I saw the Park Hyatt walking and thought it was a great location.
It was absolutely gorgeous! Highly recommend going to the top of Europe (Jungfraujoch). The ice castle was so fun and obviously stunning views! I think they even have sledding during certain times of the year.
How fun! Switzerland is on our travel list so thoroughly enjoyed this video. And like you, my travel bag is my LV Pochette Metis in black.....so great to hold my passport and other stuff. Love your white coat :)!
Did you stay at the Storchen in Zurich? I know they renovated but wow the rooms look so much nicer than when I stayed there haha. Looks like a lovely trip!
looks like a beautiful trip. I have lake como on the list for this year too with my family, cant wait :). Thanks for sharing I am a new subbie and I adore your videos and your style
Your Milan breakfast buffet looked so yummy! My husband and I went on a trip to Milan-Lake Como-Rome years ago and we loved it! Italy is one of my favourite countries to visit (a lot easier from the UK 😊). Never heard the term ‘trolley train’ before! Thanks for sharing ❤
Such a great vlog! Really happy you and your family made those shared memories traveling. My Mom used to take my sister and I on little trips (more local to New England) and it was special. We did also go to France and England one time- looking back I appreciate that time so much. Curious which hotels you stayed in in Switzerland? Would you recommend them? Thanks ☺️
Yes, these trips are so special. I do 1-on-1 trips with each of my kids as well. So wonderful for bonding and making memories. I love reading that your mom did that with you too! In Zurich, we were at the Hotel Storchen and in Zermatt, the Ginabelle Resort.
Thank you! I have a mini weekend trip in Hudson Valley soon to celebrate our wedding anniversary and then a girls’ trip to Amsterdam and Brussels in a few weeks. Not sure if I’ll vlog though!
Amazing video, thank you. Please, help me, next month I'll do the same trip. How was the travel by train from Zermatt to Milan, there is a direct train or you had to take a lot of connections? Vídeo incrível, obrigado. Por favor, me ajude, mês que vem farei a mesma viagem. Como foi a viagem de trem de Zermatt para Milão, há um trem direto ou você teve que pegar muitas conexões?
If I recall, there may have been 1 short train ride in between but otherwise no other connections. It was actually very easy! Hope you have a wonderful trip!!
Watching this from Ukraine and really wishing we could go back to family travels again…but r*ssian missiles fly in our sky instead of international airlines…we all here really hope that free countries will find it in their hearts to support us and help us to overcome that bloody dictator p*tin and go back to peaceful life 🙏🏻

Hello! That was helpful! How did you get from Zermatt to Milan? How long was the train ride?
I believe it was roughly 4 hours by train.
Omg, thank you for the beautiful video. I wish I was there. I can’t wait to go to Italy. Deborah 🇨🇦

Thx for sharing! Does your MZ Wallace Travel Jim fit under the chair in front on the flight?
Yes!! It slides under the airplane seat. I’ve taken it with me on so many flights and train rides now! Love it.
That hotel breakfast buffet was off the charts..!! Any George Clooney sightings in Lake Como? The scenery was stunning throughout the entire video.
Haha no Clooney. I probably see more celebrities here in NYC where I live but would’ve been cool to spot him. 😂
Thank you for this video ❤
I've been taking more videos during trips as a personal visual diary to look back on too 😊
Hi, which hotel resort did you stay in Zermatt? It looks great.
Ginabelle resort. It’s really lovely.
Is there direct train from Zermatt to Milan?

Thank you for sharing your family adventures 😊. BTW used your DUYP code today 😉 sadly I have to welcome you back to rain here in NY 😕
Thank you! And thank you for supporting me with your DUYP purchase. Indeed, hard to come back to this cold, wet weather in NY! 🌧️
TFS! love this travel vlog... ❤
Hi, what train did you take from Zermatt - Milan? Thank you ❤
We took the EuroCity (EC) train! 😊
Do you plan all your trips yourself? What a wonderful trip!
My husband and I planned together but he really did most of the legwork! He booked the hotels and train tickets and I booked the flights. Team work!
This was excellent. What's your next adventure?
Thank you! I have a mini weekend trip in Hudson Valley soon to celebrate our wedding anniversary and then a girls’ trip to Amsterdam and Brussels in a few weeks. Not sure if I’ll vlog though!
