Vintage Miami hurricanes cap restoration ( fitted to snapback)

I have a few hundred vintage starter snap backs and some fitted,
that a new dead stock, from when the factory closed. Some of them
need some work. Can we do something?

If only you could explain the fook going on lol. How’d you get the measurements, why that measurement? What if man had a smaller/bigger fitted
