Cleaning up your sketch is such an important part of inking/lining but it's so often glossed over in inking tutorials

Instead of using a force fade stabilizer go to the brush settings itself and turn on force fade. It looks a lot better in my opinion. However, it could be just a matter of preference.

what i do is use that same brush, but i kinda make the opacity 80-90% then i use that default red colour and do the line art. When im done i do a new layer and a clipping and make it black or the colour i want

I dont reccomend doing the “connect it with tiny lines” just make big confident strokes to help build line confidence and practice drawing lines! You’ll never get better if you skirt around your responsibilities and ignore/skip the fundamentals!

Personally I like to make my like ten times harder and barely sketch at all. If it’s a complicated pose then there’s a bit more of a sketch but usually just a stick figure and I’m good.
