But I will say the tackling was HORRIBLE, and the line backer play was very subpar. The other disappointing thing about this year is Will Johnson not playing, absolutely no pop or spice on special teams, and we have not seen ANY freshman. Get a real OC. Sherone will still be gone if he doesn't critically evaluate this staff. Gut it. And rebuild it. What an opportunity, any OC you want with Bryce coming in.
As far as Michigan recruiting looking great right now, any concern that some players could leave if a post-season ban gets imposed by the always slow-moving NCAA? They just granted Michigan officials a 30-day response extension on 11/25 to the "Notice Of Allegation" sent 3 months ago for the still un-resolved "scandal" issue. Won't this legal request by U of M make a resolution take even longer now with nothing able to be settled for several MORE months?... Are recruits even aware that this is ALL still pending?, because depending on the final ruling, I bet some top athletes will choose to leave Michigan if the team becomes ineligible to play in the post season the next few years! Would players get only a portion of promised NIL $$$; or forced to give back/even sewed to return $$$ if an unfavorable ruling comes out and players start bailing on this program?... Could all get rather messy for donors and especially potential recruits. 😞 Just VERY concerned, and I don't think we have near enough answers at this point with zero resolved in the "advanced in-person scouting scandal"; no one can 100% confidently move forward yet; and doesn't this extention only prolong knowing just how severe these sanctions/consequences may end up being?
The part of this video that made me cringe was “there is no qb competition.” Think about Brady and Henson. Henson was handed playing time and Tom had to compete, and in the end Henson dug a hole in the 1st and 3rd quarters and Brady dug that team out in the 2nd and 4th. That fight and learning to be the comeback kid helped make Brady who he became. 🐐

Good job Braylon. One of the dumbest things I've ever heard, they don't have a QB on the roster but you can still question the OC because of reasons. Also, he should know you can't just switch to an option-style offense for one season or even two from a pro style like you switching offenses in a video game.

Bring in Kyle short and jermaine Crowell to help coach Underwood 💯.
SEC been paying for years
How one player has saved a 1st year coach is a ridiculous statement.
14:15 ayyyy
and 16:37 if you needed more lol
It’s not about the money it’s about he gonna come to Michigan and play immediately that qb situation is changing and their qb is not leaving as they thought he would when LSU recruited Bryce so this moves gives him the best chance to start and win s/o Jacob odums from Harper woods high school to help that defense 🔥 2025 back to bidness go blue!
If it wasn't about the money then why he committed 2 weeks before signing day?
@ it wasn’t about money because no one else bid and LSU knew 1.5 was chump change and again he was about to go somewhere where he wasn’t going to come in and play Michigan you get to play and they gave you 10 mill and a line to Tom Brady that gives him a shot at the nfl if not he got an education and some bread don’t read to far into it I grew up with his family and we in the same alumni association it definitely a topic of discussion at our annual picnic this summer with his grandmother it also says something about LSU and maybe they about to make a coaching change when Michigan just had one as well as he has teammates going to Michigan in the same class
THIS IS MICHIGAN FERGODSAKES
Now hire his OC? Connor Stallions.
Who's got it better than us?
Think about the number one recruits that are going to start transferring just to play in pretty much the second best conference in college football now for a while we all know the SEC is the best conference in college football...
The Big Ten is the best conference now. Nobody in the SEC has money like Michigan, USC, and Ohio State except MAYBE Texas, *MAYBE*
Is Bryce enrolling early?
Yeah and since we are bowl game eligible he can come practice during bowl game practice
They were talking about the offensive staff. I think the opposite of Bellamy. He is a Michigan man, but his recruiting and coaching of WR leaves something to be desired. I think Curt Campbell is an easy target. But/And the offensive line play is ass. I don't think Newsome was ready. I find it hard to judge the defense, because the offense could not sustain drives. But I will say the tackling was HORRIBLE, and the line backer play was very subpar. The other disappointing thing about this year is Will Johnson not playing, absolutely no pop or spice on special teams, and we have not seen ANY freshman. So what are the prospects of this team for next year...No young receiver, no linebacker, no DB, kick returner. Where is Cole Sullivan or Jordan Marshall
Did you not watch the northwestern game? Jordan Marshall almost returned a kickoff for a touchdown.
@@lostinthesauce8855 The fact that we haven't seen him until the NW game makes it a valid question, tho
He’s been injured that’s why we haven’t seen him
@lostinthesauce8855 aha, so now you finally answered the question instead of trying to be a smarmy smart-ass who tries to answer questions with questions lmao. Thank you for that switch up, we all appreciate it.
Maz worry so much he needs to chill n let things play out
1991 Chris Webber came in as a five-star LaMarr Woodley came in as a five star
Chris Webber was more than a 5 star he was the #1 player in the country
Y'all talking about Michigan does not have a coach past Ron B. that is decent. Grant Newsome.... Excellent recruiter and has been consistently moving up the coaching ladder. Put some respect on GN now
Grant is the reason this OL has been so underwhelming this year. Not sure what you see in him but I'm not impressed. His seat should be pretty warm right now. i hope he has learned a lot over the course of this season because this OL has NOT been good at all and I blame that on Grant.
How much money does the school make after one home game?
Could we maybe see underwood as a lion?! He plays 3 years at U of M. Then lions trade up to the top 5 in the 2028. Sits two years behind Goff for 2 to 3 years.
Woah, let's relax and not get ahead of ourselves here lmao
Get a real OC. Sherone will still be gone if he doesn't critically evaluate this staff. Gut it. And rebuild it. What an opportunity, any OC you want with Bryce coming in.
Moore not going anywhere
As far as Michigan recruiting looking great right now,
any concern that some players could leave if a post-season ban gets imposed by the always slow-moving NCAA?
Just VERY concerned, and I don't think we have near enough answers at this point with zero resolved in the "advanced in-person scouting scandal"; no one can 100% confidently move forward yet; and doesn't this extention only prolong knowing just how severe these sanctions/consequences may end up being?
You can be a 89 and be a 3 ⭐ so that ranking system means nothing in my opinion.
The part of this video that made me cringe was “there is no qb competition.”
Think about Brady and Henson. Henson was handed playing time and Tom had to compete, and in the end Henson dug a hole in the 1st and 3rd quarters and Brady dug that team out in the 2nd and 4th. That fight and learning to be the comeback kid helped make Brady who he became. 🐐
First of all This isn’t 1999.. Secondly who is going to compete with?? Alex Orji?? There is no one to compete with, Jadyn Davis is going to hit the transfer portal and Alex Orji is going to be used as an offensive weapon
@@jerryalexander8803 Transfer portal is a 2-way street, man.
@@CertifiedClapaholic yes, it’s a two way street for literally EVERY TEAM
@@jerryalexander8803 So what makes you think Michigan won't have a QB on the roster for Bryce to compete with after the Wolverines start aiming their money cannon at the transfer portal??
@@CertifiedClapaholic there will definitely be other QBs on the roster but you don’t pay that kind of money for a QB in order for him to “compete” for a spot.. when the bears drafted Caleb Williams they didn’t draft him for him to compete with Justin Fields, they traded Justin fields.. Not to mention the transfer portal didn’t help Michigan too much this season did it?? Exactly, and it’s gonna be even less interested QBs next year knowing that Bryce Underwood is their guy.. hopefully I dumbed it down enough for you this time so you can stop @ me.. peace
Maz is dumb. Thanks captain obvious lol. Listen. If Michigan had been able to move the ball with good QB play the entire team and games would have looked different. Defense would have been rested. Alot would have been better. A good QB is a must for team chemistry and functionality on both sides of the ball. Bad QB play destroys even talented teams
This is all feelings, Michigan lifer and Alum from Alum family and excited but this is hard to listen to "kids now don't compete", my gawd people are so FOS now. These kids have been competing since they were 5. These kids show up to college ready unlike the days you idolize precisely because of how they competed. Old people(as an old person I should be able to say this) are so FOS, gone are the days of the supposed tough guys who would get carried home the night before games, praising guys like Sonny Jerguson who drank on game day and changed the play calls. It's just different competing and if you can't recognize it that's a you problem not a problem with these kids
Also, Braylon apparently pays absolutely no attention to who has the most money. He thinks in term or rich football, but it can get bigger than that and into who has not rich but WEALTHY alum. That's where the real money is.
Good job Braylon. One of the dumbest things I've ever heard, they don't have a QB on the roster but you can still question the OC because of reasons. Also, he should know you can't just switch to an option-style offense for one season or even two from a pro style like you switching offenses in a video game.
You can absolutely change your offense in one or two seasons, coaches come in all the time and immediately change the style of play, look at Army, look at Colorado, look at Indiana, I mean the list goes on and on..
@@jerryalexander8803not exactly cause Moore is changing the entire system like look at rich rod for example mich was a pro style and he was changing it to a spread with mobile qb's which he didn't have when he took over.
Big facts
@@ammielcoats9762 this is 2024, Coaches play books are far more deep than what they were 10-15 years ago, if you're a competent coach then you can do it, it's not that difficult for a good coach to do.. Michigan has literally switched from Option to pro from game to game, when Orji was starting it was option when Davis was starting it was pro, y'all making it way more difficult than what it really is.. Peace
@jerryalexander8803 I hear you but it seems this year mich's playbook was 10-15 years ago 🤣 🤣 🤣
Please, Michigan, don't waste Bryce Underwood talent by running the damn football, and please get a better offensive coordinators
Players getting paid like big boys then they should be fined like the NFL for that fight. They fine the Schools while these kids rolling in cash. If i got 1 million right after high-school id be dead
We went 15-0 and won the Natty less than a year ago. Is that not cool?😂
500th like... what did i win?
t's a cool thing but, who's going to coach him. Sorry the Wolverines playcallng even the national title team has been bad. I'm a huge Michigan fan but genuinely concerned.
You simply don't know football like you think you do if you believe that Michigan's play calling in the NC games "bad" or even "not good."
@@CertifiedClapaholic The talent was elite, they had a game plan and i get that, but they almost always kept their opponents n the game. Very basic, uninspired. Michigan fan and football fan for many years, you don't know football if you think it was anything special.
Nobody was checking for Sherrone Moore because of his play calling.
Braylon needs to learn to not breath so dang loud into the mic. It's literally all I hear and pay attention to whenever he's in a clip.
LSU has 0 money.
Chris Webber a little underplay . More footballagic johnson
Devin Gardner 2.0
Cope
Sooooo..... don't earn it. Smh
Let’s wait for people to perform on the college field before we call them special. Right now they’re just overpaid kids who haven’t done anything against real talent.
Bellamy is a horrible coach. WR core is one of the worst in the FBS and he’s the passing game coordinator and we have one of the worst passing offenses in FBS. His WR recruiting has been poor prior to NIL.
Hey look the homers at u of scum sports are at it again. I guess you have to talk about it, 10 million and all.
Just ridiculous stuff. What do you all know about Underwood being guaranteed the starting job? What do you all know about Davis transferring? You all think that Sherrone is making these types of "promises" to kids, or do you think maybe Sherrone is concerned about the culture (the buzzword you all love to throw around constantly), and meritocracy, and competition, and winning your position? One year removed from a national championship and you go out and perpetuate this narrative that Bryce Underwood is singlehandedly saving Michigan football? Ffs
Have you not been paying attention to all of the recruiting buzz the Underwood commitment has generated? Saying that he is singlehandedly saving Michigan is honestly pretty accurate.
You're kidding, right? Which QB on the roster looks like they would be able to beat out a guy who pretty much EVERYONE says is a generational talent? I'm more concerned that UM is going to waste his talents!
@@christianfelan8732 they're going to bring in someone from the portal and Jadyn Davis is going to have a full year under his belt. Talent isn't everything. Underwood is going to be very good, but more times than not when you throw a rookie into the fray, it doesn't go great, be it pro or college. People love to look at the exceptions to the rule while ignoring that overwhelmingly it doesn't go great. Underwood needs to be brought along slowly, progressively getting more and more snaps and, yes, perhaps becoming the starter at some point during his freshman year.
Underwood will be ok for 3 years but he will be pushed in a system that needs help now and that will hurt his stock sorry I’ve watched it year in and year out
Are you lsu?
Don’t worry he’ll leave
Why 😂
keep dreaming
5:45 you absolutely can put the toothpaste back into the tube on this one. Put in restrictions. There is going to be a salary cap basically coming soon. It’s not going to remain the Wild West. We out SEC’d the SEC. The SEC has been buying players for years. Let’s not pretend that’s not a thing. Just shows when Michigan starts doing it we can do it better 🤷
Yup, and now that UM threw their hat in the ring and started to out spend circles around everyone else watch the sizemic outrage to regulate NIL begin.
@ fantastic point.
I don't think you understand how this stuff works. This is an NIL deal, not a contract for a roster spot. You cannot put a "salary cap" on sponsorship deals for NIL. This is not a pay for play contract, this is purely Bryce Underwood making money off of his name, image, and likeness, and nothing more. If the NCAA tries to impose limits on NIL, they will laughed out of court.
@@gabeswitala2292 except you literally can't regulate this. It's against the law to do so.
@@CertifiedClapaholic and that's the beauty of it all.
