Emdr therapy switched something on inside me that was off; broke a certain frozenness that prevented me from doing what was good for me while enacting self-punishing behaviors every time i felt bad for who i was. If you, reading this, have that same problem, know that it can change, no matter how many years you have been afflicted by it. It is my thought that frozenness is a mental block, unconscious self-punishment through self-denial of what is good for us. You deserve more. You can overcome.
