Nelsons Bay Girls weekend

Dive Jervis Bay organises girls trips every year to encourage women to go diving and meet the new people along the way. This year we went to Nelsons Bay with Feet First Dive centre, It was an incredible time even with the rough waters and rain.
We dived at two sites off the boat, the first called The Looking Glass and the second called North Rocks. Both had spectacular sea scapes to explore with a variety of marine life such as Nudibranchs, Sharks (wobbies and Grey nurse) and a particularly friendly Blue Groper.
Before we started our drive back down south we did an early morning dive at Fly point, this dive site depends highly on the tides, and high tide being at 6.30am that when we needed ti be getting into the water. We were not disappointed, the sponge gardens at the dive site are spectacular, if you are onto your macro photography this place is for you. And you can get to a depth if 20m very quickly. There was a lot of boat traffic that early in the morning so a dive flag is highly recommended.
