The hermit country, North Korea, has little to no information known to the rest of the world. It was not until the rise of tourism that foreigners were allowed to take the lead in exploring. However, even their exploration and documentation were limited, and several restrictions were planned on some activities, including sharing photographs shot in the country. Despite the multiple security measures employed to ensure all pictures are being cleared to be shared, some brave tourists managed to sneak out pictures that reveal the truth about the day-to-day lives of North Koreans, their challenges, and the dark practices of their leaders.
