I'm pretty sure that Bellamy acts the way he does because he is hurt. He would've given up everything for Clarke and wanted to save her at all costs but when she decided to stay with Lexa it broke his heart, which you could see in the scene (Bob's acting is just amazing, the cast in general is incredible). Now Bellamy is driven by his desperation and Pike had the best timing in manipulating him. Bellamy might be on a really bad track atm but I have hope, because despite what he said, that is not who he really is. And the video is just amazing, everything fits together perfectly and it shows the strong connection between Bellarke. Ugh, I need some happy Bellarke moments.
Maybe he handcuffed her because he was afraid he'd loose her again. Maybe he thinks he can change her from a grounder to a sky person if she stays. When hes taking her maybe when he says "its for your own good" he means that he wants to protect her. Idk fan theory

Just how much, I have no idea. I hope not too much because it feels like they're making them turn on each other too much which I can't stand. I'm also not a huge fan of the city of light thing. I can see where they're going with it... but I liked the natural aspect of the show and the fact that it was all about human nature. So when they brought in advanced technology and "robot's ruling the world" concept, it doesn't feel right anymore. I predicted that in the last episode of the second season and I wasn't too thrilled, but that's just my opinion. It's hard to continue watching the show.

It shows the scene where Bellamy finally shows Clarke how much he's been hurting having to kill children and the people who helped him in Mount Weather-- his FRIENDS-- people Clarke never met and didn't know. Bellamy had to stay and suffer the consequences while Clarke got some reprieve, it's too bad he didn't get a break too. He's crushing slowly inside and Clarke had no idea this entire time. She thought he would be fine, that he would be okay, that he didn't need her or any emotional support after what happened. It's his war too and he has a say. She somehow failed to respect that he had a side, a perspective, that is just as important as hers and required as much attention. I suppose she had long since stopped treating him like an equal. And to Bellamy, that definitely stood out in this conversation. The truth of the matter was finally confirmed with the way she spoke to him. That was the other bitter truth. Throughout the entire season 2, Clarke had treated him somewhat like her subject (only because the situation called for it). However, by Lexa's side, who I suppose has a higher station than Bellamy, Clarke never stopped treated him like her inferior. Bellamy's resentful of that, the way she behaved towards him like he was her soldier, her subordinate, willing to do whatever she said. Not to mention the SECOND time Mt Weather blew up (self-destruct), once again Bellamy is the one who knows the people inside and his girlfriend Gina. AND he blames himself completely for that one, since he left (BUT HE WOULD HAVE DIED SO THANK GOD). AND he pulled that lever ALONG with Clarke. He and Monty were stripped of the right to mourn because no one credited them with the massacre, only Clarke received the public recognition of the sin. Neither of them could express their pain. And after all these betrayals by grounders, not to mention the countless attacks from them (under Lexa) in Season 1, no wonder Bellamy has decided that Grounders as a whole are the problem and not just Ice Nation. There must be over 1000 deaths he mourns since the beginning of the show (in a course of what? just 5 months, 4?) because of Grounders as a whole. Pike is taking advantage of that and Bellamy's in so much pain he follows Pike to direct it at the Grounders. Even Lincoln has betrayed him several times before, but luckily they eventually became friends. However Echo, someone he trusted, betraying him now, costing the lives of 40 something people he was sworn to protect must have been the last straw. And in the conversation, Bellamy reveals that he feels betrayed by her AND Octavia. I feel so bad for him, he gives his all to them but what he gets back is manipulation or self-absorbed women. He also reveals that he believes that he has 'always been' this way and he let Clarke convince him that he could be a peaceful person. Which means that without her, and without the usual trust that he has in Clarke, Bellamy thinks he is a militant soldier-- someone whose only impact is in kills. I suppose he believes that this way he can FINALLY put a stop to the death of loved ones and his people by channeling this skill for a positive impact of protecting his people instead of taking innocent lives. What he is NOT understanding is that a lot of Grounders ARE innocent, particularly his targets!! That is NOT right, someone needs to stop him. Ethnical Genocide is not acceptable. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT IS HAPPENING TODAY. Okay well anyways, sorry for the long analysis of the scene. THEY ARE BOTH SCREAMING AND CRYING AND TALKING ABOUT THE TRUTH AND FEELINGS. WHAT MASTERFUL GENIUS IS THIS. WHO GAVE US THIS BRILLIANT BELLARKE SCENE. OH MY WOW. What I really hated/loved was the fact that it was HONEST when he kneeled in front of her and took her hand. You could exactly see the moment when he decided to handcuff her. The moment she said "*I* know *we* can fix this.", Bellamy snapped. They just had this honest, important fight about the difference between "we" and "i" and then she decided again that SHE knows. He wouldn't have handcuffed her if she had asked him if they could fix this.

He didn't have to offer her any comfort - he could have handcuffed her without doing that and she wouldn't have been able to stop him. Now that all they've said is out on the table, they can finally move forward in the future and start to mend.
Okay guys, to clear something up: Bellamy handcuffing Clarke is NOT terrible or something you need to find excuses for. Part of who Bellamy and Clarke are is that they are serious and lots of times refuse to hamper their goal because of feelings. Bellamy and Clarke are on opposite sides. The fact that Clarke has been living with Lexa for the past two? weeks makes her an enemy of Pike, and Bellamy was smart enough to catch Clarke's drift-- she wanted him to help defeat Pike. Since Clarke didn't take any time trying to convince Bellamy to her side, Bellamy is still with Pike and he is well aware that Clarke is a threat. Of course Pike as we think will not be killing Clarke, as she is Sky People, but he will need to imprison her as a Prisoner of War. Like with Lincoln, Bellamy is protecting his side. Similarly, when Clarke finally realizes what she didn't understand before, that she and Bellamy are NOT on the same side anymore, she tazes him to make her escape. This is part of what we love about Bellamy and Clarke-- they are both badasses on a mission. And when it comes to the tough stuff, the necessary steps, they will take it. So yeah, Bellamy was business. Clarke was a threat. (She would not be harmed as far as he knows. And why would he let himself be manipulated/influenced by her again? He feels betrayed and abandoned, and it's obvious he's shut himself off from her.) Then, Clarke reciprocated the logic vs emotions card and chose to taze him (which of course hurts him physically) to escape. Just imagine from this amazing scene how much chemistry there is when they're on the SAME side.!!!
Nice video, but why did you only choose scenes from Bellamy's POV and showing how much he loves Clarke, but didn't put any scenes that show how much Clarke loves him? Why are there scenes with him trying to save her, but we don't see her desperately begging Roan to spare his life, and promising to do anything and stop fighting - so, basically, promising to let him take her to the Ice Nation queen to be executed (which she thought would happen - she had no idea he was taking her to Lexa), which she did? This is something that I've noticed in many Bellarke videos, and not just Bellarke. In so many m/f ships, people are constantly just focusing on how much the man is devoted to the woman and how much he loves her, even when there is at least as much evidence of how much she loves him and is devoted to him. What's up with that?
I use the scenes you speak about in other videos but it depends on the lyrics or on my mood, so I honestly don't think about it very much. Adding to that, I also just really like Bellamy's POV for bellarke videos so it's a personal preference. I don't think about it in terms of a man loving a woman, I think about it in terms of Bellamy loving Clarke despite and because of everything and that's a story I love telling. I find it harder to connect with Clarke on that same level and since I spend hours editing these videos it's harder to make them completely Clarke's POV. I try to use both Clarke and Bellamy POVs in a large part of my videos, but for this one I chose Bellamy's because of the events that happened in the episode I made it for. He (and her leaving him) was the focal point of the episode so the video represents that. I also always base my videos on the song I'm using. The lyrics "did she run away / did she run away / I don't need to know" are central to the song as a whole which fit into the narrative I was trying to convey.
This is so fucked up honestly, I don't know why anyone would think this is okay. You can't just put this kind of stuff on youtube and leave people to die. The scene itself, in the actual episode, was already pretty horrible, but this? This is Satan's work. The song is way too much, but the worst part is the juxtaposition of 3.05 and 3.02. I fucking hate this. I'm telling my family to sue you when I die.

God you always break my heart. Your music choice is always on point, and your editing is impeccable and you really know how to integrate dialogue from the show into your videos well, which can be such a misstep with others. What I really hated/loved was the fact that it was HONEST when he kneeled in front of her and took her hand. You could exactly see the moment when he decided to handcuff her. The moment she said "*I* know *we* can fix this.", Bellamy snapped. They just had this honest, important fight about the difference between "we" and "i" and then she decided again that SHE knows. He wouldn't have handcuffed her if she had asked him if they could fix this.

He didn't have to offer her any comfort - he could have handcuffed her without doing that and she wouldn't have been able to stop him. Now that all they've said is out on the table, they can finally move forward in the future and start to mend.

Okay guys, to clear something up: Bellamy handcuffing Clarke is NOT terrible or something you need to find excuses for. Part of who Bellamy and Clarke are is that they are serious and lots of times refuse to hamper their goal because of feelings. Bellamy and Clarke are on opposite sides. The fact that Clarke has been living with Lexa for the past two? weeks makes her an enemy of Pike, and Bellamy was smart enough to catch Clarke's drift-- she wanted him to help defeat Pike. Since Clarke didn't take any time trying to convince Bellamy to her side, Bellamy is still with Pike and he is well aware that Clarke is a threat. Of course Pike as we think will not be killing Clarke, as she is Sky People, but he will need to imprison her as a Prisoner of War. Like with Lincoln, Bellamy is protecting his side. Similarly, when Clarke finally realizes what she didn't understand before, that she and Bellamy are NOT on the same side anymore, she tazes him to make her escape. This is part of what we love about Bellamy and Clarke-- they are both badasses on a mission. And when it comes to the tough stuff, the necessary steps, they will take it. So yeah, Bellamy was business. Clarke was a threat. (She would not be harmed as far as he knows. And why would he let himself be manipulated/influenced by her again? He feels betrayed and abandoned, and it's obvious he's shut himself off from her.) Then, Clarke reciprocated the logic vs emotions card and chose to taze him (which of course hurts him physically) to escape. Just imagine from this amazing scene how much chemistry there is when they're on the SAME side.!!!

Nice video, but why did you only choose scenes from Bellamy's POV and showing how much he loves Clarke, but didn't put any scenes that show how much Clarke loves him? Why are there scenes with him trying to save her, but we don't see her desperately begging Roan to spare his life, and promising to do anything and stop fighting - so, basically, promising to let him take her to the Ice Nation queen to be executed (which she thought would happen - she had no idea he was taking her to Lexa), which she did?
This is something that I've noticed in many Bellarke videos, and not just Bellarke. In so many m/f ships, people are constantly just focusing on how much the man is devoted to the woman and how much he loves her, even when there is at least as much evidence of how much she loves him and is devoted to him. What's up with that?
I use the scenes you speak about in other videos but it depends on the lyrics or on my mood, so I honestly don't think about it very much. Adding to that, I also just really like Bellamy's POV for bellarke videos so it's a personal preference. I don't think about it in terms of a man loving a woman, I think about it in terms of Bellamy loving Clarke despite and because of everything and that's a story I love telling. I find it harder to connect with Clarke on that same level and since I spend hours editing these videos it's harder to make them completely Clarke's POV. I try to use both Clarke and Bellamy POVs in a large part of my videos, but for this one I chose Bellamy's because of the events that happened in the episode I made it for. He (and her leaving him) was the focal point of the episode so the video represents that. I also always base my videos on the song I'm using. The lyrics "did she run away / did she run away / I don't need to know" are central to the song as a whole which fit into the narrative I was trying to convey.

This is so fucked up honestly, I don't know why anyone would think this is okay. You can't just put this kind of stuff on youtube and leave people to die. The scene itself, in the actual episode, was already pretty horrible, but this? This is Satan's work. The song is way too much, but the worst part is the juxtaposition of 3.05 and 3.02. I fucking hate this. I'm telling my family to sue you when I die.
