Those little rigs are so much fun. Even a 2wd Track/Kick will get you a lot further than some other 4wd rigs, they’re just so damn light and maneuverable!
Wow ! You and your dad certainly made that look easy, my son has a Suzuki jimny I think it’s much the same as the Suzuki sidekick that you have over there, since we put the chunky tyres on it, it now can go just about anywhere, So far we have managed to do all the work ourselves ie; new bumper, light bar, snorkel and also transformed the inside to make it a two seated car and our next job we are going to be doing is the 2” lift, I’m confident enough to do the front but I’m a wee bit weary to do the back, would you recommend that we try it ourselves or should we know our limits and leave it for the professionals to do it, That really was a great video excellently narrated with no messing around, thank you and all the best to you and your Dad
Gnarly railroad tracks. I had heard that in a while. I'm old, so that 1 word (gnarly) makes me relate to him lot better. Great video, I'm going to lift mine 2" also.
What’s up. I have a 96 sidekick 2door. I heard the biggest tire recommended is no bigger then 29 inches bc anything bigger will affect the gears. Do you know what’s the highest I can lift it without any complications or without modding anything?
The first gen have slightly different clearance issues than my 2nd gen, so I can't say for certain. Any time you put bigger tires on, the vehicle wont be as fast right out of the hole. You could improve that by replacing the factory gears to compensate for the bigger tires. going bigger than 29 might put a little added stress on the gears, but shouldn't be much to worry about as long as all tires are the same size. Axles tend to hurt a little more with bigger tires, i'd be more worried about those.

Hey ebrahim! Unfortunately those trim pieces suffered from poor material quality from the factory, which leads to 99% of them becoming brittle from the sun and breaking. $420 is actually reasonable for a set. I've seen them go closer to $600. May be worth it to invest that money in a hard top...
