I miss these 🥺I used to read the guidebooks at gamestop while I waited for my mom to finish shopping. Back when they were just displayed at the front and didn't have plastic wrappings.
This is what I love. I collect video game guides. Even though I like them so much, they really are completely obsolete haha. They often don't even have the most comprehensive information. And the instant convenience of online information is unbeatable. But I don't want them for their usefulness, I love them for their art and the content that describes my favorite games like a snapshot in time.
@@SilentSounds Old video game magazines, the ones that have previews and reviews of games, are even better for that. It's so cool to see ancient preview screenshots of Ocarina of Time, etc as well as their speculations.
One another amazing video and 2 amazing timing and I’m still on my play through of Ruby. It was my first ever Pokémon game next to leaf green and fire red. Thanks for uploading this to help me now and for bringing back good memories
@@SilentSounds the same as the last time I commented LOL. College has been kicking my ass with finals and all these projects so I haven’t had time. I’m honestly severely under leveled and idk how I’m at the 7th gym badge with a team of barley level 32s😭😭
@SilentSounds Lmao when I open my RUclips app in the morning the first thing I do is check notifications and I saw this one said 2 minutes ago and I was like?? aha surely I read that wrong? that's pretty funny that I got on right as you replied. But yea to answer you I am making my own romhack. it's basically pokemon emerald with new gen QOL changes, megas, gen 1-8 and legends arceus pokemon. then there are new rivals cus i love rival battles and you battle more. new areas and maybe a new 3rd team?? >:) also new elements to the story

Pokemon was 100x better when it was pixel art. Im currently working on my gem 3 decomp rom hack to make my perfect game.
