Personally, I think the Shroomscavate change is…fine. It’s still a powerful card when you’re the one playing it, and *just* Divine Shield is somewhat easier to manage on the receiving end compared to Windfury/DS.
I think it could have been interesting to change wind fury to a spell damage. That way the card still has a shaman feel and it could still benefit both classes
It just loses the Shaman flavor though. It could’ve been changed to 1 Mana and Overload 1.
It is horrible for control shaman.
Before shroomscavate could be used with the titan to use 2 abilities in the same turn.

@@ScherFirewouldn’t it actually be a good thing? Nature Shaman runs Windmaker because it had no hits that didn’t give damage pre-patch. Making it so Shroomscavate and now Gift are misses is a good thing.

I love having the privilege of play testing for Blizzard each expansion 😊 feels good when they act on the feedback. I even pay them to use their cosmetics for the added flair when my hero portrait inevitably explodes on turn five 😁

It was so much fun when my opponent didn't interact with me much and then concluded with pointing arrows at my face killing me from hand even though I was at maximum health. Feels good to be defensive and full life and it's still not good enough. I guess I need to play armor vendor

Where did the lightning storm come from?
He got Lightning Reflexes from Scoundrel...into Elixir...into Baking Soda Volcano but he was 1 mana off to play that...then POOF there is a discover to get Lightning Storm....

The scoundrel discovered the reflexes. The reflexes discovered Elixir. He played elixir, which discovered the baking soda volcano. But the elixir was discovered off lightning reflexes, and he played it the same turn, so the lightning reflexes discovered a second spell.
It was cut in the video, but that's the sequence.
it mental that in the first game opponent had 2 mana left and still got to do 24 dmg from hand to your face and clear your board
I’m so glad they nerfed Pally. Ironically, that’s opened up my Highlander Pally deck to not look foolish next to the Zerg deck everyone was playing.

Shroomscavate just feels like a paladin excavate card more than shaman. It only giving divine shield now is not much in flavor of thrall and nature.
Yep, but balance is a lot more important than flavour and paladin having windfury was just unacceptable so it is what it is.
As someone who repeatedly got one shot by a Leeroy Jenkins that was hand buffed since turn 1 & then Shroomscavated, I LOVE THE NERF. Awful card design
I'm really frustrated with the shroomscavate change. I know it was needed in pally but I have a battlecry shaman and it was pretty much the only way I had to finish and now it's gone because it was so oppressive in pally. Very unfortunate in these dual class cards.
Mana cheat really is always something that ruins this game and they continue to print new mana cheat every expansion. When you think of every problematic deck in the last 5 years it is almost always mana cheat at its center. Rogue combos, Shaman spell damage, Druid shenanigans. All mana cheat...
Ok, now look. Everybody... _everybody_ cheats. I mean, some people call guys who sleep around on their wives "cheaters." Yet we all do it.

Wtf are these developers doing with this game? Turn 5 otk 6 mana, i thought this was standard not wild. They love making decks that feel horrible to play against..
