I was in a plight many years ago on the last day of the fair in my city, when I was trapped in a big wheel for a few long minutes, although it seemed like years to me because the machine was turning and turning at high speed. I was dizzy and terrified as I saw some men below trying to stop it with huge tools. In the end, the machine stopped and I was able to breathe with relief. I never ever got on a big wheel again!!
I've been practicing a lot with another kind of videos but i have to say that this channel has much more new vocabulary to learn, I must study more right now
I've got caught in a similar situation. It was on a flight from Chile to Argentina. Onto Andes Mountain there are tourboulencies a lot. That night the plain started to shake off, dangerously. An old lady forward my seat had nauseous, she was very sick. We were all very scared. We were finally able to land well but anguished. Thanks L E Stories ...
It's a little challenging for me, l mean advanced Vocabulary. If only l new those words well, l would definitely read this story a lot more easier and faster and l would even say with great understanding.😊 But it does not scare me. That's what l would like to learn for sure. Thank you.
Once, I was invited to a party, there were no buses to the small town I was invited, however, a bus driver told me he would leave us very close to it. We hop on a bus and after 10 minutes we hop out, left in the middle of nowhere, walked for 30 minutes with higheels -just my cousin and I, when we started to panick, a customer of the factory I worked for in the administration department passed by, made his car´s brake squeal and came to a halt, fave us a ride. He and her wife were very supportive and kind, and told us not to do that again. But we did not even know that would happen to us. Happy ending.

Hello Rita,
This story is read quite fast - try slowing it down in the video settings and this may help with your understanding :)
I don’t understand many words from this story as well, but I always try to catch a context and this way I try to get to know new words. Regards.

There are so many great expressions! But why do you pronounce the word 'sun', 'sunstroke' like 'soon'?
never caught like them yet.

Luckily, I've never experienced anything like this.
Your English is very hard to understand but I like your English
Don’t worry, Sonu. This is an advanced story. Try one of our intermediate stories and it might be easier for you to understand 😃
