** PAYPAL LINK @BWSAA ** THANKS 🙏🏽
Nice work gentleman…..
I was sweating just watching so god knows what it was like in reality….
🥵😆cheers 🧱👍🏽
Quick question ,won’t that dpc tray sag in the cavity ,btw that lintel proved a swine to get in
It certainly was and no it won’t 🧱👍🏽
Who is the Lady, observing proceedings at 31.06.?
The next door neighbour - presumably...?
Ah it is our customer chatting at the end of the job 😁🧱👍🏽
Can't tell you how impressed i am watching you both work. Really enjoyed watching this porch going up, especially given how tricky it was. Keep going guys 👊 💪
Thanks very much Philip 🙏🏽🧱👍🏽
Thats a great job, well done.
Cheers pal 🧱👍🏽
Have you slipped up with the early 8am start? Just checking. 😂
Looking forward to it whatever time it starts
😬 I’ll check 🧱👍🏽
Back in order I see
👍🏽🧱
Very good job
Cheers 🧱👍🏽
Steve "weve got a 10 foot concrete lintel to install"
Alex "Hold my beer"
Blimey that looked hard work lads, well done !
🤣🤣🧱👍🏽
Might I suggest getting some little airbags, probably would have lifted the beam for you when you needed to get above the slate etc. I know hindsight is a great thing. Great job trying to make a silk purse from a pigs ear.😊
They would have been perfect 😩🧱👍🏽
Chaps,
10ft 6x4 is that all.....?
Some of the pre-cast and reinforced, Boot lintels we use to put in, would put that minnow in the shade....
Those "Bas*ard - boots", were nothing to boast about, they are part of the reason I now walk with a stick.
Was that arch a "relieving arch".? or was it just relieved to see you?
Pukka video as always chaps.
Carry on - and be careful out there on sites. 😁👍🧱🔨
😬😁😁🧱👍🏽
They say you can't make a silk purse from a sows ear well lads you proved that statement wrong what a cracking job well done.
Cheers Andy 🧱👍🏽
Knowing the weight of the lintel and Steve’s health, why on earth didn’t you guys hire a Genie ?
Where would it go ?
I can't believe how these houses don't fall down. They look like they are falling apart. Well done again lads.
😆cheers Tony 🧱👍🏽
I quite like it when the videos finish like this without the intro. Look forward to the next one.
🧱👍🏽
Very interesting video. Really enjoyed it. Thanks for posting.
Cheers 🙌🏽🧱👍🏽
I notice you gents just use the tip of the strongboy , is that OK, I tend to mess about getting it stabbed all the way through the wall,, but then the ones I hire are mostly bent so the inner leaf is not getting g full support ? Any tips here ?
They’re not designed for that . They are designed to keep the acrows away from the wall to allow more room to work 🧱👍🏽
I feel exhausted just watching that lintel going in!!
🥵🥵😆🧱👍🏽
Good thing that window was there to hold those bricks up !
😬🧱👍🏽
Fair play guys, that lintel looked heavy 😱
Thanks pal it was 🥵🧱👍🏽
The lintel crew at it again! Good job fellas.
Cheers Steve 😁🧱👍🏽
How is the other Porch going...? The one at home...?
Painfully slow 😔🧱👍🏽
Any reason you used the concrete lintel instead of a steel one . Cheers
Big span unstable wall we can pack it up tight 🧱👍🏽😁
Evening all just hope it works tonight
😁🙌🏽🧱👍🏽
Why has Alex got a hivis on yet Steve hasnt??
Because that’s what we pulled out of the draw that day 😎🧱👍🏽
It's brilliant video. I missed the live due to work, but it was nice to watch after a long day. If there was a TV show named after Steve and Alex it would be the " Lintel King's" 🤜🧱🤛
Cheers Pat thanks for that 😁🧱👍🏽
Why was there no lintel above that window, was it like that when it was built?
There was an arch which should have taken most of the weight, and the original wooden frames would have been structural which would also help take weight. Replace it with a non-load-bearing window and damage the arch while you're doing it, and you've got trouble.
👍🏽👍🏽
Kingston 👋👍
🧱👍🏽
Alex had his weetabix that morning
That’s my boy 😍🙌🏽🧱👍🏽
💪💪💪💪
