It actually brought a tear to my eye when that Bank Manager came on because as a 64 year old South East Londoner born and raised very near Danny and as someone who stood near him on THe Millwall terraces for years I have to say THAT was what England USED to be like...before Corporate UK took over..
The best broadcaster this country has, should have his own show on Radio 2 instead of the shite they force us to listen to (yes Chris Evans and Steve Wright I do mean you)
Great to see the surprise appearance of Danny's old bank manager, after just reading about him in the second DB autobiography. So funny! I agree with Danny - now THAT's television!
If you love music & musical anecdotal stories & humour then i suggest Dannys book " Going to sea in a sieve". I'm not a book worm by any means but that's a book i couldn't put down.
She is typical BBC fodder. Vacuous, slave to the autocue, always ready to say "Yes, Auntie", just the way the Beeb likes them. She'll be with the BBC until it shuts down. Or falls down.
The funny thing is she was on the radio herself recently doing holiday cover for a big name DJ and she was surprisingly good. I thought it was a different woman with the same name and was gobsmacked when it dawned on me that it was her.
Does any Woman? They are usually thinking of the next thing they want to say while they pause for breathe and allow you a fleeting moment to talk...lol
Sad world without DB.
Very True.

The greatest to grace the airwaves and screens, without question. British broadcasting will be immensely poorer when Danny retires next year.
I thought he was that twat who did the Daz ads and posts misjudged tweets? Must be thinking of someone else.
I highly recommend Danny's book , Going To Sea In A Sieve .Many laugh out loud ( real LOLs ) moments .
ThefightingCelt Totally agree and his two follow up books too. Together they make up the best, most informative and funny autobiography I have read.

No one's forcing you to listen to anything

Danny Baker isn't content with just speaking words, he wants to fill in the gaps in between those words too.
I'm sure Danny has definitely earned the rare title of and become "a national treasure"?
He's one of, Or the best radio host? Currently and recently.
“You put on some puddin’ “ 😆
One of the nicest guys in entertainment.

Beautiful, great entertainer
Love you Danny
Brilliant!
Love the candy man
My god, she was dreadful. She didn't seem to be listening to a word he was saying.
