Perdón, Caro mio Ben no es una aria, se trata de un preclasico, muy utilizado para los cantantes principiantes, lo cual, desde luego, no demerita su calidad como pieza musical bellísima y no se diga si es interpretada por cantantes de la talla indiscutible del maestro Carrera.
What part of Jose Carreras is ADD? I see no trace of it in him. And what part of his singing is ADD-like? He is very well centered. I'll bet every move he makes is planned carefully. Do you really know what ADD is? Calling Carreras an ADDer is an insult to him as well as to all the people who have ADD.
This is nasty. He attacks the first note with a "bark." Whatever legato he possesses is ruined by his overly accented vowels - not to mention scooping and minor pitch problems. This is certainly not Carreras at his best.
Carreras was one of the great tenors early in his career, but something terrible happened to his voice. His voice became very strained and frankly awful to listen to. Eventually he stopped singing entirely.
