Found your music on cyriak and lovelovelove your unique sound, almost reminds me of Yugen. It has been years I listened to progrock but now I just want to jump right into this freaky caleidoscope.

I'm hearing so many different flavours; Mike Oldfield, floyd, zappa, miles davis, king crimson? . . .not that you don't have your own sound, you totally do, just trying to find some comparisons. This is definitely going to require several listens to get a handle on, Kudos the composers and all the musicians on this recording, you should have way more subscribers but hopefully this release will help you blow up your channel, most intriguing new music I have found in a while. Great job.
an absolute MASTERPIECE of its genre. this album is one of the few albums id say with songs that hit from start to finish, my favorite track off of the whole album has to be sublimation of an oak, a song that stands near equally with all the other songs in the album. the lyrics are ethereal, the vocal deliveries and recording are smooth and dreamlike, with overlapping lyrics that make for an amazing asynchronous harmonization, all 3 vocalists are equally beautiful to hear. the progression is fresh and gives one goosebumps to hear for the first time, the instrumentation is incredible and feels perfect thematically and musically, with such a level of variety, and such clearly audible mastery of it all. the influences are apparent, but the entire album brings such a unique flavor that ive never heard anything even similar to in other albums before. i can jump to any point second in the album and find myself pleased, this album does not taking calming down as an excuse to stop giving. deeply touched by this album, one of the most human and worldly albums i have ever heard, cannot recommend to anyone enough. one of my go to choices of music to put on repeat and sleep through the night to. the words here dont cover even most of how i feel of this album, words could not explain how much i appreciate this album. heard of this album through the music video made by cyriak, and could not be more grateful for it, an amazing choice to make a music video, and im glad he had you for it. i am beyond excited for any future works put out by this band.

What a great album! Seventy seven minutes of seamlessly woven pieces of classical-jazz inspired progressive music, that ideally listened in one sitting. It reminds me of Harmonium's L'Heptade. And while Light is a French group Harmonium is a Quebecois. Five Stars.

So you yourself is M. Carvalho, I presume. Congratulations! Yea, the music is very good and it's mesmerises me so much. There are some contemporary sounding, but the music is much more leaning to the period of 70s. The solo parts are always so compelling, whether they are by the clarinet, or bassoon, or drums. I love the dreamy quality of overall overarching composition. I enjoy L'Heptade XL but I much prefer the original version, at least to this day, for I don't like the idea that male and female vocals sing together in several songs. Well, except for the last song, Comme un Sage, of course, when Monique Fauteux vocals are so splendid. The wordless choir of it ... aa... a... aaa. is the tenderest part of the album, loaded with so many feelings at the same time. There are also some points, in the end, that your music melodically reminds me of that choir. I also watched the live session of 'Betray', which is quite catchy and radio friendly - one of my favourite, but I much prefer to think the album as a whole. Are you the one who play the piano? Forgive me if I wrong.
Oh, so sorry. But all performer are of course very good. Hard to imagine how could you play so many instruments. The recording process is of course very taxing and complicated. I think the music itself is much more in the vein of classical music, even if it's very jazzy. Fortunately I'm a lover of classical music. And your music has its own character, so that while apparently I can compare it to L'Heptade, inwardly they're quite different to each other. Your music is essentially much more instrumental, of course. You know the Italian band, Quel Giorno Di Uve Rosse? It's not a typical RPI Italian Symphonic band. I think if you have interest in progressive music with orchestral arrangements, you should try it.

I honestly don't have the slightest idea about why this video was in my recommendations, but I genuinely dig every song present, there isn't one that could be classified as forgettable. As for the songs themselves I'm getting huge Yoko Kanno and Yuji Ohno vibes mixed with Weather Report (especially Heavy Weather and Havona). I do wonder if any of these songs is going to be included in some sort of soundtrack.
