It refers to the village of Baltimore in County Cork
Because it's the first Baltimore. Loads of US town/city names are named after UK and Irish ones.
It is a wrong title perhaps a better one be English heiress in the IRA
@@PatchouliPenny There's a suburb in Baltimore called Dundalk, both of those names came from Ireland - even my own home village shares a name with a suburb in Westmoreland, Pennsylvania.

I have seen this film, but couldn't recommend it. The whole approach is very amateurish, and doesn't really work very well to tell the story of Rose Dugdale. Which is a shame, because Rose Dugdale's story, whilst sick and twisted, is on many levels very funny, and even hilarious. She was a debutante who rebelled against her upper class background; and as with others of her type, even her treachery stank of upper class arrogance. I think of the Cambridge spies for example. The working class, which she idealised, would not do what she did. The film is a very laborious treatment of a single episode in Dugdale's life, namely the theft of paintings from a country house in the Irish Republic in order to fund the IRA. There are flash backs to her time at Oxford, and various commie squats in London, but most of her life is not covered. The movement forward and backward through time is unnecessary and detracts from the story. There's even a bit of Sliding-Doors-type many worldism at the end. I found it hard to stay awake throughout. A missed opportunity to tell an amusing story. I'd give it 3/10 and suggest seeing something else.

I think I came away thinking this film tried too hard. It had that kind of cliche Saltburn hatred of the upper classes. As for Rose I felt she came off as a bit silly and would be right at the front with Greta Thunberg or pro Palestinian cause today being a pain in the backside for her own personal psychology.
Not very realistic. Poots is a babe. Dugdale on the other hand...

I think those are more militant ENGLISH republican organisations. Close to the IRA, but more left wing and communist in nature. Yes, they are terrorists.
