In our country many dogs are killing by poisonous. Because there are no proper facility for stray dogs. We are educating people that stray dogs are friendly, adorable. Which food is good, which vaccines are needed at time. Thank you for making such educational channel .

If a rat or mouse eats the poison, and then a cat or dog eats the rat, it can get poisoned that way. I'm guessing that is more likely than the dog getting right into the poison itself.

Please do not bring politics into this. Olena is one of the few Ukrainians who actually care about stray dogs. There are so many strays in Ukraine because most Ukrainians don't give a damn about them. Nothing to glorify Ukraine for! Who throws away the puppies Olena is saving? Your glorified Ukrainians. In Olena's videos people are giving her a chocolate instead of an adoption fee. That says something. If they can't give her a little donation, can they pay for the vet fees when it's needed? I'm quite sad when seeing those adopters. If you don't have enough money to give a fee, will you have the will to pay for the vet fees that might come along?! Mind me it's not about being rich, it's about the mentality. In my country even the poorest pay for what has to be paid because we really take them as a family. You don't let your family die even if you have to take a loan. I'm from the Czech Republic. No strays here, you call police when you find a stray. She/he will go to a shelter. No kill shelter! Americans are shitty in that regard. What TF kind of a shelter it is where they "euthanize" you. It's too nice of a word. They use gas in the US, so it reminds NAZI concentration camps, definitely no "shelter", just a killing ground. People really need to change their attitude to non human beings. They are not things. They are not to be thrown away like a garbage when they are no longer convenient. They are not to be killed when we - humans- think there are too many of them! Humans are overpopulated terribly and that's OK. Y'all need to understand we have the same value for the planet as any other living thing, probably even lower. We're the only species that keeps decimating other species, a biologist would say we're a virus. I wish Ukraine peace. I wish Putin destroyed. But people in Ukraine have a long way to go. No glorifying Ukraine in this regard, they don't deserve it. Ukrainians need to start regard animals as living, feeling beings. How can they throw puppies like a garbage? How can so many people pass by without noticing, without taking any action? Olena is an angel but the community needs to recognize the problem and face it. Otherwise it'll be always just Olena and a few similarly enlightened people in other areas of Ukraine. Stop glorifying Ukraine. In Romaina they have a huge issue with stray dogs. Dogs and cats can find rat poison almost everywhere on the ground, in parks, yards a.s.o. , it was not neccessarly given to him directly. A lot of outdoorcats die because of this, when they catch mice or rats and bite them, the poison is going into their blood. No way to prevent it.

I doubt he was poisoned deliberately? more like ate some that had been put down to keep rats away
