I have a lot of admiration for him. A member of my family has Parkinsons & because of Michael I see how you can still have a life with it albeit with its challenges
I completely agree with you, my Husband has Parkinson’s & it’s incredibly debilitating & upsetting to see the person you love disappearing right from your eyes. We both try to stay as positive as you can but even sometimes the word positive is shattering.
Michael is such an inspiration. My Mom was diagnosed with Parkinson's a couple of years ago - she is 86. I can't imagine Michael having to deal with it at such a young age, for many years. It has robbed my Mom of her independence. She does not shake like Michael but there is a disconnect in her brain and she has a very hard time walking - her legs almost freeze as if they do not know how to move forward anymore. She is basically home bound now and uses a wheelchair. Such an awful disease. I'll definitely be watching this when it comes out.
I can remember as a kid in the late 90s or early 2000s where he was doing an interview for Today Show. He was off his medication and he couldn't control his movements and I cried for him and what that must feel like.
Michael J. Fox has always been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. His portrayal of Alex P. Keaton on Family Ties is still one of my favorites. If you have never seen Family Ties; I BEG you PLEASE stream it as soon as you can Fox was brilliant as Alex and his real life wife played his girlfriend Ellen on it as well. They were not married or even involved during this time. But, their chemistry as a young college couple on there was just AMAZING. Tracey Pollen, his wife, at the time was dating Kevin Bacon and he was dating Nancy McKeon from The Facts of Life. It was almost fateful that those two got together and have been married over 30 years. God Bless Fox and his family.
Absolutely love this incredible man! My 13 year old son also loves him and Back to the Future is his favourite 80’s movie - we’ll definitely be watching this! Thank you for the review 😀
It was such a great movie and it’s definitely hard to see him like this cause I grew up watching him on TV but I love him so much and he is definitely a really great guy from everything. You can see all the way around. I’m glad he is doing all the research and funding for Parkinson’s.
A must watch ! Now Michael J Fox can say proudly that he is a born fighter and deviant not to let this condition win!!! 💪 ...❤❤ ... life is Cruel sometimes Nanny Di 😢😢 But remaining positive when ever possible is key ... I feel this documentary promotes this 🙏❤️ ....
Love him, what an Incredible, Brave Man. 🙌❤️ He one was of my Crushes. 😍 This looks very emotional but really good. I will definitely be watching. Thanks for the Review Mark and Nanny Di. 😘
This looks good. I agree with Nanny Di about life being cruel and had forgotten about some of the films Michael J Fox had been in. Hope to watch this. Thank you for the review 😊
He definitely picked a fabulous life partner, a fantastic person, stayed out of the fakery of Hollywood, even though he is a major star. He beat them at their own game. Nice one Michael, well played.
Michael J Fox was actually 1st choice, but couldn't do because of contractual obligations with the sitcom he was in. So they shot the movie with Eric Stoltz, I believe pretty much the full movie was in the can; but due to Fox becoming free to shoot and zemeckis not being sold on Stoltz, they sacked him and hired Fox, reshooting the majority of the movie.
Mi heal j Fox wasn’t 2ns choice to play Marty McFlurry he was 1st Fox was busy with his sitcom and back then studios weren’t gonna let Michael do a movie when he’s contracted to do a sitcom on some network. So Eric stoltz came on board shot for (I think a month) the director Robert zemechis didn’t think it was working so he talked with executive producer about recasting and bring on Michael and the rest they say is history.
I love him, he’s so wholesomely handsome xx
I absolutely love this man .. have done since I was 15, I’m now 52 🥹🥹🥹
As a child of the 80s I watched his films over and over again. Loved BTTF, Teen a wolf, Doc Hollywood, and Family Ties 🤩
