Your advice on speeding up below the height of the net is contrary to what most pros are doing. Every pro is speeding up from the height you initially said ‘don’t speed up’, using heavy top spin so the ball will stay in. I think the more important part is one’s ability and choosing when to speed up that ball. Timing is critical and that usually happens when the opponents are moving or are lulled into a boring dink rally.
