Last years valencia half marathon, he gets 2nd and runs #2 all time, and now he takes the world record, he won last years HM world championships. He gets the 15k and 2nd best 10k road times in the middle of his wr race. Now obviously his track accolades are amazing, top 5 all time in the 10k and a sub 12:50 5k. Just based off what im seeing I think he'll be most dominate in his late 20s-early 30s when he switches to road racing, he could probably challenge all of the road wr's and maybe even take on kipchoges marathon wr

In the middle of the race it’s different because you’re not starting from a dead stop.
It would cool if you did a video breaking down the fastest times of each distance (5km, 10km, 15km, 20km, 25km etc) that a human has ever run.

What's crazy is that Jacob Kiplimo is the only runner in history who could be capable of breaking every World Record from the 3000m to the Marathon.

    5000m (12:48.63) WR: 12:35.36
    10,000m (26:33.93) WR: 26:11.00
    Half (57:31) WR
    Marathon (TBD)
Yes, he DOES have a long way to go in each distance but what is even crazier to think is that he's done ALL of these performances (except the Marathon) in the past YEAR. His Range is INSANE. Not even Kenenisa Bekele or Haile Gebrselassie had this kind of Potential Before the age of 21. They focused on One Distance and Progressed forward. Kiplimo just doesn't care he does ALL of them despite what Traditions say. He has yet to do a Marathon, but With this potential it's only a matter of time before he breaks Kipchoge's 2:01:39

    His running form is superb.
That's the secret even if when he drops in a race when someone passes him, he never loses his form he can rather be slower with the same running form.

He just broke the 15k world record with 38 seconds. Into a half marathon... thats just incredible. Can you make a video about su bingtian’s olympic semi final? Where he ran a 6,29 60m split, which is the fastest ever, 0,02 seconds faster than usain bolt

Smokin. Wonder what Cheptegei will run for his 15k WR attempt. This is amazing with most of it solo. Pretty much have too, there are only a handful of guys who could run 26:37 just for 10k.

if i was him i would be trying to best all of the long distance races if he can put up split times like that within a half marathon, he's on route to beat multiple world records, 8km, 10km, 15km, potentially 5km

Split at 5km was 13:40 and at 15 km 40:26. So 10 km split from 5 km to 15 km was 26:46.

I wonder if the 15km WR will be eligible. It was from a standing start obviously, but I guess it depends on the accuracy of the split timings and whether the same protocols were applied as the finish timings. A running timer on the side of the road probably wouldn't cut it, I imagine

I want to see what he can do in the 10K on the track with the "world record pace lights" flashing on the inside lane! Even without a runner pacing him he might take the WR.
