@metamyther Have you already got some drum machines, or maybe have a shortlist of candidates? I've been through a few in recent years, was even considering two Norand Mono Mk1s for a while, then modular drums with a sequencer. Bought the DD 01/IV (twice), then a Perkons :D It's a quest almost as bad as delays. Still have your Perkons?

The DR-2 has been a real sleeper. Out for a few years but never seemed to get the attention of others like the Pulsar or Perkons. And you're right I must get into the real business of sound design with it. I knew though if I started with that I'd never get back to tutorial land :)
No specific undo action that I'm aware of. But in most cases "NO"+"button" will reset that parameter, or in the case of dedicated buttons like "random" a double-click will remove it.
it's insane how fully featured this drum machine is!
And I still need to do a Part 3 to finish the feature list !
