    It's the details that make the difference! Particularly like how you talk about the replacement cost of the glass as an exemption of an otherwise more efficient construction. And tons of more useful insights

    Volvo is one of the few heavy equipment manufacturers that's also into Automobiles and Heavy Trucks, Huge Huge Research and development department that feed off eachother l think, Hyundai ,& Doosan also make Car's Light and heavy trucks but a little smaller in overall Scale than Long time running Volvo, l think Volvo & Komatsu are very Close in Build Quality, Komatsu being the 2nd Biggest jn the entire world, those are my Favorite three Makes of heavy equipment Caterpillar , Komatsu & Volvo and not necessarily in that order depending on what specific machine job it built for. Im not a Heavy equipment operator but always wanted to be , Especially a Old slang Cat Skinner, Running a Komatsu Bull dozer or Volvo Tractor Dozer. Thanks for the better camera angles and Great Audio in your videos this is the 2nd video I've taken in and watch in its entirety. The Cat 308CR Next gen Track digger being the first one l watch also from start to finish , Which doesn't happen very much with me , But yours is about to the same type of videos but different in a Educational type of way which I like alot. Gunns in the company name seems kinda Wartime in a way & does not mean you actually bring Loaded guns to work but still it's all in a Name especially a business name. All the best to you in your future.

    Does your excavator have extended trac? If so how do you make it work?

    • @Olliegunns
      @Olliegunns  4 года назад

      This model doesnt. I think only the smaller ones have it. Never driven one so not sure how they do it. Usually a button will change the dozer lever from operating the blade to making the tracks come out. What model have you got?

    Hi. You do a wonderful job with these videos. It would be possible to do a review for Yanmar, I understand that many excavators have an engine from Yanmar and the hydraulic power is 20 percent better than the competitors? What equipment? in this category it would be good to start a business

    • @Olliegunns
      @Olliegunns  4 года назад +1

      I've driven the Yanmar in this weight class, and they drive really well. The only downside I really noticed were the cab's were quite tight, and the zero tail model I tried, had a stupid two piece door that looked really flimsy. Guess I must have been right about the door as the machine now no longer has a door on it as the guys broke it! But it drives well, and has a fair few hours on it now so the reliability must be there too. You just need short legs!

      I’ve had the yanmar VIO27, it was not a great machine. Pedals were hard to use, poor quality wiring, and the two piece door was very flimsily as Ollie pointed out.

    this is a kubota engine in this not a volvo engine volvo dont make engines for diggers all the bigger volvo are deutz engines think volvo own deutz

    • @Olliegunns
      @Olliegunns  4 года назад

      I didn't know that, it was plated up as a Volvo engine and listed as one on their website. But it being a Kubota engine in disguise isn't a bad thing - they make good engines!

    • @paddyk2535
      @paddyk2535 4 года назад

      they do but i dont rate kubota mini diggers had a few and they wear like hell and get old fast cabs are terrible they not japanese anymore made in poland now i like that volvo you had nice and fast wouldnt think much of jcb everyone going away from them hard to know whats the best now

    • @nikdeakin7504
      @nikdeakin7504 4 года назад

      That's right about the kubota's Paddy, 1.5ton range and below are poor. The 3ton range are good from my experience of them based on power and performance. Hitachi tho all the way! That is the 17u, 19u's and 3 tonners can't vouch for the smaller ones.

    • @padraigwestman8104
      @padraigwestman8104 3 года назад

      Volvo still make there own engines. Deutz up to the L120H loader size and volvo own engines in larger loaders and excavators. Filler for hydraulic oil on the 25 in this video is filled through filter bowl not through breather as pointed out.

      @@padraigwestman8104 i thought deutz made all of them with kubota in the mini diggers what size excavators have volvos own engines
