I really like this build. I've used some of this as inspiration for my own castle build. I really love the fact we can invert railings now because it's given me a kind of medieval type of castle look.

Loved the video so much. Gave me so many ideas. And I took your idea with using paint. And I found a geometry pad and you can make the blueprint for the whole build even for triangles

This was meant to teach you how to build each portion of a castle so you are able to build your own. This wasn't a tutorial to show off how to build the showcase castle, but I included it to show that you could build a similar castle using the same techniques shown in the video.

Wow you explain so many basic and obvious things Also there a 1x4 piece for doing walls that are 4 high to save you (and your viewers) some tedium I only clicked on the video to make some smart-arse comment about the foolish man building his house on sand, but , the first 10 mins of this video just sucked the life out of me Some will no doubt tell me i have no right to post a negative comment, or some crap, but people do not learn anything by always telling them positive things, and this guy's channel is too big, and he has been at it far too long, for him to be doing such boring and obvious builds I say this not to insult him, but in the hope he tries to improve, maybe build on somewhere that isnt perfectly flat for a start, and let his creative juices just flow randomly into something wonderful and inspiring

Man! I haven’t been this hyped for an ark build in a long time. I’m building this for my tribe on unofficial.
ladders by far have the hardest snap points. I have learned that you can basically build a ladder cage and it will protect you from attack.

Why alternate on the round tower? You can go the same pattern and get the same effect. Is it a cosmetic or for structual reasons?
When extending outward, you have to alternate each layer, other wise the tower becomes less round each layer you expand by using the same pattern.

Love the build tutorial but if on official, shouldn't you use large stone walls in place of regular walls to conserve structure limit?
That is def an option, depending on how high you want the wall.
