UPDATE: Frazier Smith, Peter's opponent in the video has responded! 🎉 Watch here: ruclips.net/user/liveh2j1pCUPEEE?si=3Yd8ykXK7XnT1z_f
While we tried to get him into this video, the timelines didn't match up due to the holiday season. He has provided much additional context and hilarious new details about the Peter Cheng ordeal; go check it out!
The context gets crazier 😂
Incredible, now I kinda wish youtube allowed edits post-upload, most people watching probably don't even bother checking the comments
@Sercotanimost people... probably... you assume a lot of shit in your life don't you? Knock that bullshit off
@ktulu3767 you ok?
Does Frazier still stand around to “judge” PA regionals? He was worthless there every time.
When you cheat so much you forgot how you cheated
Yeah it's like people who believe their own lies you believe your own lies long enough you actually believe it
LMFAO!
Lying about knowing is step one in getting out of it. Every kids uses the phrase "I didnt do anything" to get out of trouble.
@SiegeDestroyer as someone who was, unfortunately, raised to be very deceptive to authority... yeah, good liars have a series of fallback lies to lean on to protect the first lie, you already assume you're going to have to feign ignorance about lying in the first place. heck, when you're a known liar, the first lie is always just a sacrificial fib you throw out there to immediately admit to and appear more honest.
@hell_rader wait catch me up real quick, do they believe it?
Frazier’s strategy of sit there and let your opponent make a dozen game rules violations is undefeated.
rush hour moment
“you seem as if you like to talk, i like to let people talk who like to talk- makes it easier to see how full of ****** they are”
Never stop your opponent when hes making a mistake
@sabbathjackal art of war yo!! Huehuehue
"I'm just _sayiinngg-uggh!!"_
Crazy, my friends nephew uses that _exact line_ in that _exact tone_ whenever he's trying to talk his way out of trouble.
He's five.
....yes it's called whining. You see it when women speak
LOL that stretched "ing-nuh" came from Peter? I need to quit using that whenever I make fun of my friends...
How embarrassing is it for a table judge to miss 5 illegal plays in a row
Yeah. What was the judge even doing being sat there if he doesn't even know how cards work. Having to have chat judge the game for you is indeed embarassing.
I'll admit, I can never be a judge to any sport. I would zone out mid match
That is most judges even in mtg. Most judges are not actual pro players. They are typically casual players who want to be part of the competitive game. While nothing wrong with that, it makes situations like this easily avoidable
@PonyBoy2792 tbf, most pro players are there playing. You essentially have to catch the people that are willing to learn and try to grow to be a judge. Compensation for judging is minimal at best anyways.
honestly, judges are not there to prevent you from making illegal actions, they are they to fix gamestates after and give penalties for it
- Not a Yu Gi Oh player
- Didnt understand 90% of this
- Still enjoyed it. Well done.
foreals alot of nerd talk but it is a well made vid
Lol same
i havent held a card since 2003. loved every minute of this and other squiddys videos.
You are officially a ygo player after watching this
4Real.
i can’t imagine how embarrassing it must feel for your opponent to need his inhaler because he was laughing at you so hard 48:28
“Jumped by a group of ‘rare hunters’” is the funniest euphemism i have ever heard for attempted robbery
Then he follows up with "if you didn't know that yugioh was that serious, now you know" 😂
I was literally playing OSRS when that happened and got confused with my monitors for a second too
"they jumped me for my foams, spiderman"
Yugioh back then was the wild west
True
"chat said this". why are there even judges at this event?
Because the plays were so BASIC there wasn't need for judges
72 heartfelt thumbs up knowing those quotes are out of bounds.
These aren't serious competitive pursuits. They are arms of marketing.
@Splozy
Except they are,
Purely for the fact people devote literally tens of thousands of hours honing their skills in a competitive environment.
Whether you enjoy them or not is inconsequential
Judges are no match for like 60 guys trying to find lethal before the players do.
The most unbelievable part of his alibi is that he even has 1 friend who would have built this deck for him
Reminds me of MissQGemini who was a CS cheater and blamed HER cheating on her friend Clara
911 SHOTS HAVE BEEN FIRED! WE NEED MEDICAL ASSISTANCE STAT 🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is our TCG version of Weevil Underwood, he even sounds like him 😂
I was about to say,
Imagine being known almost strictly FOR cheating
like a NERD!
Nah Weevil was actually good at the game by comparison.
I don’t think Weevil actually ever cheated though, right? I mean, I haven’t gone back to finishing the anime after duelist kingdom, and I guess him throwing out exodia is kinda cheating, but none of that was during a duel, and at least weevil actually knew what his cards did
@greenshyguyfrommarioDestroying (Or removing in any way) your opponent's cards would still qualify as cheating. Also in Battle City he sneaks a card into Joey's deck that benefits him when Joey draws it. Him and Rex also later sneak into a tournament by faking their identity.
Remember back in the day when everyone had to declare every move they did and explain what they were doing and what the cards do but everyone hated it because it took too much time? This is why
Tried getting back into yugioh and was basically laughed out of the store when I asked a player if they could slow down and explain what each card is doing. I had a basic idea from just reading the cards off yugioh meta but this was the first time playing against it and seeing it in action and just needed a bit of hand holding as they did their thing
@MrPsyren99man I feel you
I couldn't for the life of me keep with new Yu-Gi-Oh
I just swapped to a different hobby
@MrPsyren99 I played against a guy at the card shop when i had a randomly made time thief deck, i didn't understand any of his cards except ash blossom, so i just nodded my head and tried my best with my understanding of my own deck. i almost won too. Almost...
Yeah, the last time I played any Yugioh (years ago now) I still frequently asked to read their cards as they were being played. A lot of players constantly got pissy over it, but I caught at least two illegal plays that I can remember because of it (not competitive, mind you, but still).
"I NOW PLAY POT OF GREED, IT ALLOWS ME TO DRAW TWO CARDS FROM MY DECK!"
23:20 When you were saying "some players decided to take matters into their own hands", I joked that they jumped him and robbed him behind the tournament building. I laughed my ass off when it turns out that is exactly what happened.
people get banished to the shadow realm for less.
Season 0 Yami would have destroyed him
"15 years ago in 2009" ow my back
sadly 2009 was 17 years ago...
Oh no.
2009. lol. Try 2006 it was funner in '04 to '07 than '09.
synchros were wanna be fusions. like when MTG printed Aetherspark with alt borders. Aetherspark was a great set and synchro art was generally ok. but it was lazy and less horror inducing and more predictable than 2004 to 2007 level skill.
now I hear rumors the game is way adjusted and significant changes.
Inaba white rabbit wave motion cannon
nobleman eater bug swords of revealing light nobleman of crossout.
man was TWENTY years ago fun days. twenty to fifteen at least.
frick even Legacy of blue eyes and OG Metal Raiders days. but those were less fun than like 2004 to like 2008 years where we had access to everything past cyber jar into ancient gear precon and Dark Armed Dragon beginning times.
harpies were not as supported as now but mine still slaughtered.
so much thinking. so much fun.
@7th_Heaven I've been playing MTG for over 20 years and I've never heard of a set called Aetherspark 💀 Do you mean Aetherdrift?
Dude turned "I can't breathe, I need my inhaler" into a killer insult
Frazier just wants to play the game and is regretting his choices lol
Frazier goes down.. Frazier goes down 😢
to be fair... what the hell was the table judge doing?
He missed EVERYTHING
They missed everything repeatedly lmao 😂😂😂
Konami's best judge
@adriannaranjo4397Wasn't this at a non-official non-Konami tournament?
@Neremworlddon't expect yugioh players to be able to read
This is so cringe I can't even imagine caring. I just wanna beat this guys ass
Trained your whole life to win:❌
Trained your whole life to CHEAT to win:⭕
The kind of guy that would unironically activate pot of greed and draw 3 cards.
Hey, at least it's only 3 cards, right?
Well yeah, no one knows what that card does
XD lol I got that. except back in the day we could draw four. because two pots of greed.
@SealFormulaMaster thats what it do
I mean but he didn't know what Pot of Greed does. it's his first time playing the card!
*joins a tournament of YGO*
"I never played this deck before, so judge has to pay attention to my play if it's wrong or not".
Yeah, that's what locals are for.
If someone at my locals says "I'm just learning this deck" cool, take your time.
But not at a big tournament lmfao.
I mean tbf the judge is supposed to always pay attention if a play is wrong
aka the excuse for "misplays" or sleight of hand
@mariox204its yugio. He can see if he is palming cards or marking them, and check if the opponent calls it out, but there are so many details on each card not every table judge can be expected to follow it at their early event.
I don't see the issue, the video feed worked.
@mandowarrior123"the judge that exists solely to make sure all the rules are followed shouldn't have to know what the rules are or how the game works"
Lmao?
Watching a grown man threaten another grown man over Yu-Gi-Oh is more entertaining than I thought it would be.
Easy with that grown man stuff.
yea but he threatened him to a Yu Gi Oh duel so that's kinda acceptable. very nerdy, but acceptable. he threatened him with card violence.
This is what an actual Yugioh villain looks like.
Stereotypes exist for a reason. He’s not beating the allegations.
Or a protagonist
Yugi will be very proud for his cheating😂
He's a spicy one too 💅
@ImmysBigSister_Pantypal the truth. Yugi cheated every game he played in the anime
i cant believe frazier ftk'd twice in a row while going second
When someone tries to sell you on a combo spreadsheet deck, they are trying to FTJC you. Don't buy!!
ZERO TURN KILL!
@phazonfishForget Zero Turn, this is the unfathomable Zero Damage Kill
Not to mention the sktk and hoft that Peter did.
@Technizor sorry but "FTJC" ?
The level of irony that a famous cheater got caught cheating on video by accidently cheating.
For a Judge to miss 5 illegal moves & literally allowing that nonesense to happen right in front of you, then yeah, that person shouldn't be a judge at all
I mean, it is worse than having 7 judges and not identify or proof what did peter do for winning a YCS? That's a qualified judge in comparison to official ones lmao
@jancojicanoderboth are equally as bad circumstances for any judge/judges. They're supposed to be there to detect this nonsense that Peter pulled.
It's no wonder he managed to pull off his cheating for so long. Judges clearly ignorant of the interactions of cards combined with his other cheating antics. He was 5-0 at the 2017 tourney yet "never played the deck before". What's the betting those matches had blatent illegal plays neither the other player nor judges caught?
Well missed 3 plays but 3 is still pretty big amount 😂
You think people with jobs or iq's play or judge this dogshit game? lol, lmao even.
It seems the only competent judge was twitch chat.
❌ heart of the cards
❌ sleight of the hand
✅ shape of the chin
bro's face is built like a mango. . .
If he had a beard he would be the gigachad
"Shape of the chin... Guide me"
Bro's chin got more postal codes than Rhode Island
NAHHH LMAO😂
"Screw the rules! I have money!"
"Errr, no you don't"
"....crap."
Shhhh the other competitors don't know that
“I’m just sayin” is chang’s favorite sentence
It's so basic
Don't play a drinking game based on it. You'll die before you even reach the context.
Bro LOVES just saying things
I use this, Unironically, a lot. Because some people don't* listen. But that's management for ya. *Shrug*
@CallousKobold You sound annoying as hell
i love how the thing that upsets him is that he got in trouble for NOT cheating. how just the BASIC unintentional moves got him in trouble, not the ADVANCED cheating moves he normally uses
I mean, it seems like he made one error that snowballed and made several illegal plays off of trying to play his combo legitimately, so it kinda makes sense.
"Just like Snow White and the Seven Dwarves."
Ahh yes, my favourite scene, where Snow White banishes the seven dead dwarves to the abyss beyond reality to resurrect herself.
The real heros of this story is chat
Always has been
_Ref looking at the playfield:_ "Peter what is this?"
Fucking god damn you. Last place I expected to see this and yet it fits so well.
Lmao is that a grumps reference? Or just coincidence?
@TheXword1 The former :D
A fellow Lovely I see.
Elite ball knowledge
Cheating❌️
Chinting✅️
His chin is so bless😂
Bro was really complaining that the judge wasnt reading the cards for him lol
and then complained that his opponent didn't catch him LMAO it's everyone's fault but his
I mean, that's how cheating works. We live in a world where we tend to assume innocence until guilt. Many people get away with cheating by just claiming they're "better." What's worse, it's extremely difficult to catch them because when you claim others are cheating, you're always the one with the burden of proof, not them; they can just keep on bluffing as long as the cheat is not obvious.
@thechronicler7461 high trust society, yes. That is crumbling in recent times as social cohesion dissolves.
46:44 "You do know where this i going Peter." That judge got a cackle outta me. That has gotta be the most polite way anyone has ever been told to fuck off ever.
The one after though 48:12 damn.
This. Is. Why. You. Always. Cut. The. Cards. After. The. Magician. Has. Shuffled. Them.
I'm not sure " I don't know what I'm doing" is a legitimate excuse at 5-0
if you need a TO to babysit your entire match to make sure you dont cheat. just ban him perma bro.
"the ratings are through the roof!" The event organizers knew what they were doing lol
He said "This is unbelievable." What's unbelievable is that he continues cheating after repeatedly being caught.
At this point his only valid critic was how incompetent the table judge was.
This is a man that needs to get his taxes audited.
Taxes are gay
I feel like im watching a low tier god documentary lol. Nostalgia vibes.
GTAB 😂
Peter Chang sounds like Yu-Gi-Oh’s answer to ‘Screech’ from Sweet Valley High.
“The moves are so basic…”
Yet, he figured out how to screw it up…
This is why you always declare EVERY move that you are going to make, not just *flashes card* "activate grass" *flashes card again*
To me part of the fun is roleplaying. Instead of just 'greed', exclaim proudly: I PLAY POT OF GREED WHICH ALLOWS ME TO DRAW 2 CARDS FROM MY DECK!
@QuantumConundrumI DRAW MY CARD. THAT DO BE WHAT IT DO, YUGI
@QuantumConundrum I think they do that because of the BS time rules so they waste as little time as possible. This is why games should never be timed at the higher levels. Give players time to think when titles are on the line. Understandable that locals and qualifiers would need it but no reason to have in the title match.
Edit: I understand they have new rules now, but you spend your entire tournament playing a certain way it’s hard to break habits
This has been a rule for as long as I've been playing the game and I started attending locals in 2008. You always had to declare what you were doing and then give your opponent time to respond.
It's actually different nowadays, as the turn player has priority and can chain block.
Cheng got away with most of his cheating because in early Yu-Gi-Oh! you didn't have to imediately reveal searched cards, so you could claim to search a card that you already had in your hand (Red Gadget, Lumina, Garoth, etc) and then give yourself the card from deck you want (like future fusion, JD/extra LS name, etc etc etc).
@TheFallingFlamingo that's not entirely true, you had to show the opponent back then, too. the rules were just harder to enforce back then, and people were less knowledgeable about the specifics! especially at local and sometimes regional levels. but revealing the search has essentially always been a rule
He went to my local card shop and oh brother the stories I have are crazy. He’s gross and creepy. He did cheat and his card prices always overinflated.
Please tell us I wanna know 😂
@SupaYoshiXPhe one time offered a dude a trade; a bunch of cards if he sat on Peter’s face
@THEKILLERS314 I have never met him but after watching this video, I find that believable!
@THEKILLERS314i believe that too
Normal summon Red Gadget. Add Future Fusion.
The classic.
In the finals it was actually heavy storm
With no monsters on the field I summon Dark Magician for game!
What a regarded trailer
It's just the basic move
It's amazing how the coup de grace was just him misplaying his way out of the game xD
True
Also, Touhou pfp poggers, as the kids would say.
If I assumed the worst of people (I do) I'd guess he thought that after a misplay in his favor that cost him the game, a misplay in his opponent's favor would give him a free win.
His face screams "ive never been punched"
Given the rare hunters that jumped him id bet he has been punched in the face
As someone that went to high school with him, he never got hit
"Dont be mean peter" absolute giga chad moment
😂😂😂😂😂 don’t be mean Peter. No. Be nice to your siblings 😂
That's what constitutes a gigachad to yugioh nerds lol...?
"hyper-masculine man, often portrayed as the pinnacle of physical perfection, confidence, and dominance"
@kaydog890you must be fun at parties
@kaydog890 He was taking him so non-seriously that he talked to him like to a little boy, is the point.
@kaydog890you must be young. Gigavhad is just a positive man that should be looked up to. To many, being good and fair to others while standing by and up for what you know to be right makes you a gigachad. For many people, dominance and physical perfection arent necesarially top priorities. Especially dominance.
If your name is Peter, there's 2 things you just can't do:
- Be a Cheater
- Eat Pumpkins
Noice
Cheater Peter, the pumpkin eater.
This peter gives us peters a pretty bad name
Last time I heard someone say that was when my grandma was still alive. Thanks for the nice memory💕
Cant have an Uncle Ben either
I appreciate the clarification on the "If" and "When" effects and how they work, been playing since day 1 and I still mess it up occasionally
If I made that many genuine mistakes in such a short period of time I’d scoop it up and go home just to escape the embarrassment.
They should make the suspended players list public again.
Its not? why?
@AlpacaHackerI assume for risk of harassment, stalking, etc etc.
@AraiDaito be that sounds like a feature, not a bug.
@jayb555-r9kgrow up
@jayb555-r9kNo, some people take a game too seriously
Chat actually coming in clutch and being a legit judge for a game is something you never expect
He was literally named cheater chang for a reason.
*Player named IWillCheatThisEvent cheats*
Judges: Very unfortunate situation, there was no way we could have known this would happen and nothing we could do to prevent this.
Cheater Peng*
Here in Jersey, we call him Stackie Chan.
@thehumblesniper That one's great. Big 00's energy with that one.
Cheater Peng
His extremely slappable voice doesn't exactly help either
so, "you're just saying" you don't like his voice?
@donstaunch7895 😂
It’s just so basic.
He's got that epstein voice
And punchable face.
He learned to play thr game from the anime lmao
Bro literally sounds (and looks) like the exact kind of person you would catch red handed for cheating after every single neuron in your mind told you "Yeah, he cheats"
Absolutely. Every time I’ve encountered someone like him I’d get a weird feeling. That dude is deviant through and through, he isn’t going to stop, that who he is. For good.
@jordangreen1938 That's thanks to mirror neurons, or as people call it "gut feeling" It's not unique to Humans alone, they are specialized to help with social interactions. It's why we have such visceral reactions to disfigured or visually sick people, because the mirror neurons are responsible for picking up on even the slightest little twitch.
Accuse him of cheating
"ACKTUALLY" I'm making legal plays.
No you ain't pal. Get the f*ck outta here dirty cheater.
Sounds like a cheater? Nah bro he sounds like a stereotypical tcg player.
Bro sounds like weevil underwood
"I think you went wrong getting in the car this morning"
I'm going to remember that line.
I knew him personally. His family owned Chinatown kitchen in Jc heights. He also used to cheat playing MVC2 at west coast video.
I almost feel like I’m responsible for some of this bc we would get mad at him and smack him in the back of the head lol. Sorry Pete
43:32 This guy was supposed to be a Champion but no one thought it was Suss he's acting like he doesn't know how to play? YGO Tournies will always be a joke I guess
It wasn't a konami sanctioned event, but a store doing it's own thing
"He 2-0'd himself" has gotta be the most embarrassing way to lose a match lol
It feels like this game has so many cards and rules that not even the judges can keep up with the game. So I guess this game is dominated by cheaters 😂😂😂
"I'm just sayin'! 💅💅💅💅"
"I have no comments, I am simply going to go to the bathroom" is going to be my new favorite go-to whenever I witness another person's crash out. This video just made me a fan of Frazier.
Me watching this not having a clue what is going on
“I think he went wrong getting in the car” AYYYYOOOOOO HAHAHAHA
was expecting a better ending , FUCK THAT GUY
🐐
Can't believe this Peter bro got a YCS with such a trash deck that era Fr fr 😂
a cheater, a con-man, AND a _loser,_ leave some struggle for the rest of us 💀
Honestly I get keeping an eye on a Chat livestream for potential misplays or cheating, I mean you're outsourcing a very very complex game to hundreds or thousands of people who might know the game a lot better, its a good way to make sure you dont miss anything in such a complex, combo heavy game like YuGiOh which to any normal person is a nightmare to interpret.
But its just so funny to me the "Judge" walks over twice in the clip and says something like "Hey guys, uh, chat something something about detaching I guess?". Its just the WAY he approaches it is so funny, it reminds me of Tony Schalub's character in Galaxy Quest.
Maybe it's his first time judging, but you really need to be able to speak decisively and with authority in a role like that, especially when money is on the line.
@dpad_warlockya just like any supervisor or leadership position
@dpad_warlock they said it was a new tournament and frankly, the players know the game better.
The judges need to memorise the new rules errata, and monitor old school card cheating, palming etc, asking them to not only be good at yugio, but familiar with most cards in an eternal format with unique rules on every card...
Maybe we could do it, but find 10 people you know who'll do it well. So many games in.
Frankly being able to read a yugio card is about as qualified as you can hope for.
This is what happens when a game tolerates cheating.
"You've been disqualified but you get to play in other tournaments despite the fact that you've cheated and then got caught" is tolerating cheating.
Right?
A DQ for cheating should be a permanent strike on your account. Two of those and you're never allowed in the competitive scene again, at any level.
you should be given second chances to rethink your life choices… but like 7 is insane
They could have said "better luck next time!" 😂
Not even just tolerates cheating, but gives players warnings when their *opponents* cheat like its their fault lmao
@chlorobenzyl I think it should be death penalty honestly cheating scum should be exterminated!
/s
"I need to go get my inhaler" was peak comedy.
Breh, Peter gets an instant uppercut for talking like that to an opponent after cheating.
he looks like the dude from the meme where he puts his hand on your shoulder while the other guy watches
Bro used the entire runescape music catalog
why would you give him the benefit of the doubt about him playing the deck for the first time?
If Peter Cheng got caught cheating more than twice. From there he should've been perma banned from going to any regional.
He should've been banned from any official yugioh tournaments
@yungslic5363 the reason I brought up regionals only because the prizes (even if it isn't money) can be sold for high value
Nah it's too entertaining. Plus he's so obvious about it. It's just hilarious
Agreed. We have a guy at my locals who got caught cheating once (Pre siding cards for his opponent) Since it was at a local he was let off with a warning and a match loss, but the guy clearly hasnt learned. I feel like all it did was make him more careful about cheating. He's still doing it imo, its just incredibly difficult to catch or prove now.
In my opinion since he did his way too many times and he has no shame
I say he should be banned permanently forever from all Yu-Gi-Oh events it's people like him that give other people a bad name
He said the word "basic" so much that I forgot what it meant
It's honestly kind of beast to be so completely inured to cheating that you don't even notice when you cheat against your benefit. Cheating on Tesla's autopilot and blasting through a preschool.
Yeah it's very funny. Peter clearly cares so little about the rules that he unintentionally broke them when it didn't benefit him.
My favorite thing ever about the autopilot cars is they kept getting stuck in parking lots and a tech got sent out to fix one and the car auto locked the door and just drove off 😂
@Ryan2K900really dude lol
people still say “beast”?
@WhiteDogg97I didn’t even notice that when I first saw the comment. Haven’t heard that in a minute
Mandark irl
But with the height of Dexter
you know his body language and vocal language whenever he got caught comes off as him trying to hide his frustration of getting caught as "annoyance" of the deck and system
I love Frazier. This is hilarious and he never once insults or blames Peter and in the footage shown when Peter tries to bring Frazier into it he coolly moves on. This isn't the full footage, but Frazier is always like this and has been at least since his Gravekeeper tops.
No point in wasting your time getting dragged into situations that don’t pertain to you.
He seemed like a really cool dude in the clip, even when he sounds frustrated
Yeah dude was very charismatic 😂
does frazier still play?
honestly, having your opponent play misplays after misplays in a championship filled with skilled players and he himself is "skilled" I'd just get off the table and go home 😭☠️
As someone who doesn't play the game, coming in with a deck he apparently had someone else put together and hasn't practiced with, every error in play should be on him for his deck. I can't imagine coming in to any other competition like this so 'unprepared'. It's disrespectful to your opponents and their time and for those that want to play a clean game.
I also can't imagine judges relying on chat and being like 'oh something from chat maybe about that'' rather than at least reading it a little more and coming in with a determination - or knowing what they're doing a little better overall.
What a mess.
“What a mess” describes the ARG Circuit perfectly, I wish it was run better.
I said the same thing... youre a judge. youre job is to know how the game works. Relying on chat for misplay is BAFFLING
To be fair I once being handled an izzet phoenix by my friend after he last minute decide to come to my place and kidnap me to a MTG tourney. He only explained to me during the car journey and I only practice once during wait before the tourne began. I made to top 8, He managed to top 4. Depends on the game and the deck you can perform well with minimal deck knowledge so long as you have experience play similar deck. To be fair yugioh is mostly combos so I understand where you came from.
@einzenberg2527well that's also a locals, not a giant tournament you played hundreds to come to
Bro, you are a bit mean here. I was asked to participate in a tournament, but didn't had my cards with me (I said so), so I was given a reserve deck, but it had a banned cards (which were its cores), so shortly before I was given another - but I didn't had knowledge neither about deck composition or most cards power (ritual deck with Ruing Queen of Oblivion), so I was forced to learn in the get go - I lost in the end (placed 39 from 40 players and only because one used another banned card and was disqualified) and I said never again a random deck. So, please be a bit more understandable.
Where’s my inhaler is the most spoken line in that room, guaranteed.
26:05 "average player" spotted
Frazier: Can I forfeit and go to my next table? please dear god make it end
My main takeaway from this is I have no idea how anyone is able to watch Yugioh well enough to catch anything, much less the cheating happening. Grainy footage of cards reflecting the light off their sleeves with text boxes crowded with a paragraph barely readable when the cards are in front of you. There must be legendary levels of hyper-focus and memorization happening in the community.
Damn that judge just wanted to watch a cozy yugioh game and y´all coming with them rules and shit xD
Bandit Ken lore goes hard
Im sorry but "its statistically impossible to go 8+ rounds and not lose multiple games" is the most ridiculous statement I've ever heard.
‘Im just sayin’ and ‘its soo basic’ are stuck in my brain now lol
Lmao the random Farfa stray 🤣 😂
I KNEW IT WAS HIM... I'm just glad there are no photos of me from back then
I don’t watch or play but this showed up randomly and I’m engrossed.
If he wore a bandanna and sunglasses, he'd look like a Temu Bandit Keith
Bandit Pete
I was expecting him to start setting monsters in the spell/trap zone as if they were monsters when playing Infernity lmao
Peter went to my locals lol, played with a lot of greats there.
This was a great story, can you do more of these?
If you need to "Ask" how you play your deck, then you shouldn't be in this tournament.
