I have a question..... I am mainly a drummer, but play some bass. I have started taking piano lessons because I really want to understand the keys, circle of fifths etc. If you were goind to play a set with this song in it, would you have to have another bass with this tuning ready to go? I have played some d drop and can see the use in it, but if this song supposed to be in the key of A, does having all 4 strings tuned flat alter it? I know I'm a newbie to the keys, but I just want to understand. Thanks in advance. Plus, great video.
The song is actually in Ab key but, once you have the bass tuned half a note lower, you consider the song in A thinking of the strings tuned in standard E

the tabs show that we should tune down the strings half a tone, but you are playing in the standard GDAE tuning aren't you?
