On the NA server at certain times of the day you can guarantee that there will be at least one if not two AFK players. It's so frustrating. Wargaming should turn them into bots if the player hasn't moved in 60 seconds.
This morning I had an E100 on my team. Player has a 35.42%WR with an avg, damage of 242. The kicker is this player has over 11,000 battles. Not surprisingly this E100 did zero damage and another turbo battle ensued. We had no chance. The fact of the matter is that as long as MM allows this kind of player at tier ten turbo’s will continue. WG needs to bring back tiers 1-4. Players should learn to play down there and have the long grind before they can ever reach tier ten. Like the “old days”. At least there weren’t so many turbo battles back then. But clueless players at high tiers equals failure of the system. It’s that simple.
My opinion WG does the rebalancing so they can say "no no no...we're doing SOMETHING for hte gameplay, not just spending money on a few graphic artists who make up new whimsical stupid story lines and a few backgrounds, avatars, and camos". Yes, WG is working on the Unreal 5 engine, I guess, and that's cool. And maybe along with that will come a reconfiguration of TANK BATTLES, not more draws and chest sales. The interface is really bad, it's difficult to communicate with clan players. And sure, all the little low res graphics (even at the highest settings) and little garage easter eggs and all that are nice. but it's the TANK BATTLES that need fixed. Player progression, match maker, actual different battle modes (all are basicallly the same thing). How about reconfiguring earned XP to actually make base captures matter? If the PRIMARY GOAL of Supremacy is to win by capturing bases, why does capturing points yeild nearly no XP that I can tell? It's just all sideways.
A 0-7 wash is the most ridiculous shit I've experienced in this game. Before 30 seconds elapsed you see you're down 3 tanks and your barely made it to the spot you're going for and then before you know it you're getting shot in the back sides and front just throwing your cannon into the sky and saying fuck this
On the other hand, i see battles start, and everyone seems to spread out and hide while the enemy captures all the bases. These battles last longer, but the outcome is still known early. Some players act like staying alive, but losing the battle is their goal.
I hate the bots in this game. I kept watching after some of the games i died in and the tanks mostly miss and do some weird moves that would make you scratch your head.
It's so unbearable I just play 3-5 battles and close the game, mind you I just to spam games for hours some days for 10 freaking years but they reached such an unbearable point it is impossible to have fun anymore. Before games where slower and thus even on low DPM tanks you had some agency on the outcome, sometimes even playing it safe at the start paid off, now? it doesn't matter, it's a coinflip.

This is a good point - they also keep increasing penetration on tanks as well. Those low DPM heavies could survive because they were harder to do damage to.

They ensured themselves with these words: "The main purpose of this round of rebalancing is to brush up the gameplay of familiar vehicles and beef up the advantages of less popular war machines. It also aims to bring down the number of vehicles with auto-loading and reduce the survivability of TDs when faced with MTs and LTs.".
They buffed the DPM of quite a few tanks, so I’m not surprised I also think some maps could use some redesigns or improvements, cuz there are some where it’s difficult to find proper cover

Also, it is 100% a problem of their own making. Go ahead and check a 10 year old guide on tier 10 tanks, the T62A had 2.9k DPM, the E-50M had 2.4k DPM, right now those numbers are mediocre or even bad for a tier 10 medium. The E50M had a 50% hull traverse speed increase from 9 years ago lmao.
It seems so intuitive. You have total team hp, countered by opposing team dpm. The higher that dpm is, assuming same pen values, then the faster the battle will be.

Where is my 640 alpha waffle and grille? i thought they nerfed the foch because autoloader too op, now it has tungsten? and the t9 also have autoloader? and the games are pretty atrocious too, no matter in t10 or in t8 or even t6, the games basically end around 2-3 mins. Its either your team sucked and died in the first minute, or the enemy team does that, and afterwards was just a sweep. How about a licensing protocol where a number of standard bot battles are required to be able to enter a tier. I'll leave the details of the criteria to you unicorns but I suggest things like bouncing shots in a heavy', shooting on the move and circling in a light. flanking in a dispersed map for a med, finding targets and killing in a glass canon. If you fall below a certain win rate and or damage as calculated on the last string of battles, say 30-50, you loose your tier license and have to retest. And of course, you may be able to buy a high tier premium but you can't play it without a tier license. Another few ideas, make running in to stationary objects cause damage ( will slow down the unskilled light drivers). Increase the award for winning and decrease the penalty for dying as long as your team wins. This would reduce the damage farmers and encourage teamwork and self sacrifice for the good of the team. Increase the award for spotting, respotting and continuous time kept spotted. Many times I've kept an enemy(s) spotted for a minute or more so the team could travel across the map and won a game. Reduce being in ow tier battles. How many times I've found myself in a low tier heavy where I could not pen anything in a brawl and too slow to flank with only option to contribute was to act as a distraction and sacrifice hit points for the good of others. Not much fun. Increase the start countdown a bit to allow a little more time for analysis and team suggestions of strategy. Just a few thoughts from an average player.
THIS I swear I get the short end of the stick WITH EVERY SINGLE GAME I PLAY. Not even 2 minutes have passed when my team is down 2 tanks and the other half is at 75%-50% HP. Meanwhile the enemy team only lost about 10% of HP.
wg should also change map designs, multiple map's heavy flank sucks and some heavies couldn't even do what they are supposed to do. also wg can buff the alpha damage on certain tanks, such as tds to make sure that nobody yolos and rushes and create a potential turbo battle. and while doing that, they can also nerf the dpm because higher alpha means longer reload, which is lower dpm.
When you spend more time waiting to get in the match than the time spent in the match... Yeah it's beyond messed up. Console > PC > Blitz in their current states

Light great speed ,pew pew high dpm gun . And match making be both teams has same types of vehicles.and nerf all dpm of the current tanks . To make game last longer .

yeah - good that they nerfed auto(re)loaders to avoid "turbo" battles. pity they didn't fixed the MM and team is either yoloing or camping doing nothing. in the first scenario they die due to overextending. in the latter they die flanked. all of those morons usually in my team. the game is barely playable in current state - all because of poor player skills, and absolutely no incentive to improve from the game itself. the last one - crew skills - was recently removed, so I guess it's going to deteriorate even further....
They should also increase the inter-clip reload of a lot of the auto-loaders/auto-reloaders. REMOVE the Inter-clip boost consumable from the game entirely. I also feel they’ve overcooked a lot of the tier X mediums armor, so I’d suggest nerfing the armor on, best examples being, the M48 and E50M to where you’d have to think in order to bounce shots. And best of all, QUIT SWITCHING UP THE STATS OF ALL TIER X EVERY “Season”.

Isn't Blitz mobile-first? People on a phone don't want to spend 7 minutes playing a round. And ppl on PC can always go for full-fledged WoT. Mobile games should be quick and snappy. Otherwise blitz would be just a low-graphics mode of WoT.
Turbo battles aren't THE biggest problem with Blitz. They are the outcome of bad tier ranking, and one could argue....rightly or wrongly....Wargamings games being too "pay to play". But that last bit aside? Having players and tanks have to compete against vehicles that are two tiers higher in capability are a HUGE problem. The battles are getting extremely lop sided and faster and not nearly as enjoyable as they were even a month ago.
That’s skill based match making which sucks and was so bad they reverted. Also wouldn’t work because then everyone would eventually end up at a 50 percent win rate.
They don't want shorter battles. You burn up credits every time you enter a game on consumables. Also equals less credits earned for slow tanks and the team that got rolled. More battles per hour equals more credit for WG and less for you! You will need to get a premium account to make up the losses or you are forced to buy premium tanks with a high credit coefficient. So they make more money but like a politician tell you that they don't want turbo battles and are trying to stop them.
I don’t think “the mm” is to blame for this. At least in my subjective feeling, we have more cases in which most of if not a whole team goes to one side. It’s basically what happens in both your battles. All the fire power is concentrated on one side and there’s less driving from a to b, then matches will be shorter. I don’t think an overall damage reduction would change much.
Not enough skilled players… selling tier 9 and 10 tanks to newbies… if you switch to “same control mode” and play on mobile - 9 games out of 10 are steamrolls… complete joke, this game used to be so much better… also they need to make a separate server for South America players. I have over 12,000 games played at 52% WR and I still get matched up with players that have less than 500 games played and go AFK everytime
That must mean either you are really bad at the game, you only play low tiers, or you play tanks you never play before
im opposite. i have 2k battles with 60%+ wr and get teammates with tens of thousands of battles but play worse than my deceased grandpa

The easiest way to fix Turbo Battles is to remove penetration and add more armor; the battles last longer if you can’t easily pen your opponents

games are quite slower on mobile instead of pc. I use same controls setting and games like this are quite rare

the game is barely playable in current state - all because of poor player skills, and absolutely no incentive to improve from the game itself. the last one - crew skills - was recently removed, so I guess it's going to deteriorate even further....

They should also increase the inter-clip reload of a lot of the auto-loaders/auto-reloaders. REMOVE the Inter-clip boost consumable from the game entirely.
I also feel they’ve overcooked a lot of the tier X mediums armor, so I’d suggest nerfing the armor on, best examples being, the M48 and E50M to where you’d have to think in order to bounce shots.
And best of all, QUIT SWITCHING UP THE STATS OF ALL TIER X EVERY “Season”.

Isn't Blitz mobile-first? People on a phone don't want to spend 7 minutes playing a round. And ppl on PC can always go for full-fledged WoT. Mobile games should be quick and snappy. Otherwise blitz would be just a low-graphics mode of WoT.

Turbo battles aren't THE biggest problem with Blitz.
They are the outcome of bad tier ranking, and one could argue....rightly or wrongly....Wargamings games being too "pay to play".
But that last bit aside?
Having players and tanks have to compete against vehicles that are two tiers higher in capability are a HUGE problem.
The battles are getting extremely lop sided and faster and not nearly as enjoyable as they were even a month ago.
Each percentage of players should be in separate matchmaking 40% in 40% 50 in 50 ect 🤷♂️
That’s skill based match making which sucks and was so bad they reverted. Also wouldn’t work because then everyone would eventually end up at a 50 percent win rate.
They don't want shorter battles. You burn up credits every time you enter a game on consumables. Also equals less credits earned for slow tanks and the team that got rolled. More battles per hour equals more credit for WG and less for you! You will need to get a premium account to make up the losses or you are forced to buy premium tanks with a high credit coefficient. So they make more money but like a politician tell you that they don't want turbo battles and are trying to stop them.
The best way to eliminate turbo battles is to either double reload times for all tanks, or cut the alpha damage for all tanks in half.

I don’t think “the mm” is to blame for this.
At least in my subjective feeling, we have more cases in which most of if not a whole team goes to one side.
It’s basically what happens in both your battles. All the fire power is concentrated on one side and there’s less driving from a to b, then matches will be shorter.
I don’t think an overall damage reduction would change much.

Not enough skilled players… selling tier 9 and 10 tanks to newbies… if you switch to “same control mode” and play on mobile - 9 games out of 10 are steamrolls… complete joke, this game used to be so much better… also they need to make a separate server for South America players. Those jajaja ppl simply pick a direction and yolo… least creative gameplay on NA server….
