It's funny how badly Canadians claim athletes that aren't even theirs. Every top Canadian HS player either end up moving to or attend boarding schools in the US lol. JM3 was born in Taiwan, he didn't even go to high school at any point in Canada. I can't prophesize for sure, but I can say that players like JM3 more than likely wouldn't have been who they are had they not attended school in the US. As someone who played football in both the US and Canada during my high school years, I can attest to the fact that Canadian high schools have nowhere near the resources and culture needed to produce the types of players at the same prolific rates a ton of the top schools in the US do. This comment isn't supposed to be hostile, but perhaps it'd be best if the Cornish Trophy was actually awarded to Canadians and the recognition a lot of Canadian HS transfers in the US gets channeled to Canadian players exclusively. It just seems a bit absurd to claim athletes that at no point during high school or college have played for you.
